A bicycle? ...Or a motorcycle, I guess, but maybe better to start with a normal bike. You could probably ride over there in an hour or so, depending on how fast you go.

How'd you get around then? ...Uh, it's like...a vehicle, with only two wheels? And you pedal to make it go forward. And it's got a basket you can put your school stuff in. You can go a lot faster than just walking.

Um, walked, mostly. Or, ah, by sedan chairs. Horses were, ah, only for the nobility, and only for war, and there was, ah, a ban on wheeled vehicles by most of the population. So, ah, mostly walking?

Oh, I, ah, see. Is one, ah, particularly hard to ride?

Ban on wheels...that's lame. Wheels are awesome. Bikes aren't that tough to ride once you figure out the balance. Plus since there's no cars here, you can go really fast and not have to worry about getting hit by anybody.
