If they fray apart, you just find them and put them back together. But more likely they're being marked for a guest appearance for your future emotional toil.

The fact that seeing your parents would provoke an emotional response makes them comparable, regardless of the state of your world back home.

And I'm sure that's a price you'd be willing to pay to know they were in Liar Hell instead of some unknown void.

In my memory, I was so certain he was dead. I was devastated to think I'd never see him again. He was my best friend in the world.

He has suffered so much since we've been here. I hate that. A part of me knows it would probably be better for him if he stayed at home, even though it wasn't safe there either, by any means. But the other half of me is deeply grateful I get to be with him again.

It's a complicated feeling.
