[There is no host to greet you when you all pile off of the elevator, just another lobby area, this one with finger foods and drinks (alcoholic and non) provided, and plenty of comfortable seating areas scattered around.

Your phone will pull up an app that provides gameplay directions and the hints to your objectives. The app will also keep track of each player's score.

Everyone will find they are free to leave the game tower, lives, etc.]

There is (or was) smug satisfaction that's now probably overshadowed by fear –– the kind of jump scare, heart pounding startled fear you get from SUDDENLY: A THING, triggered by the Kydoimos Din.

And then followed by a nice little dopamine rush because apparently something about that triggered an objective.]

[grabs onto that fear and just amps it up, but only enough to indicate he's got some control over it]

[She had this powerset for unitswap, she knows it.

Whirling on him, with her ears pinned and tail lashing. She reacts to fear like a cornered cat, claws out and snarling.]




Maybe you should knock it off if you ever want to sleep again! I can make sure you get nothing but nightmares.

[cranks the fear up again and grins]

I got an objective for using machai you know. The longer you're an asshole about this the more you're helping me win.

[Her reaction is to burst into laughter, though her fur now absolutely is standing on end, and her claws are extended and tense enough it looks painful.]

And I get points for experiencing it! I spent my whole life afraid, you'll have to do better than that to beat me!
