[He's in the park an hour later, looking pretty rough around the edges - like he hasn't slept, and he's been crying. He's got something in the palm of his left hand, and he's rubbing at it, absently, with his thumb.]

...hey.

[ looking tired too, though more in a pale sick way than in a crying way; his hands are set against each other, fingers curled at his wrists ]

[ with a sort of strained, quiet tone, like he's used up all of his voice ]

[ shifting, awkward ]

[ getting up then, looking for some path and then starting to walk - slow, waiting for him if he doesn't move too ]

[ hesitating, like he'd like to move somehow but he just pulls his hands together and at his individual fingers ]

[ pulling his own fingers a little more ]

[ stiff, bringing a hand to rub at his neck ]
