In any case, however you've ended up here there's still plenty to do. Shopping, restaurants, movie theaters, maybe you can even find a tour bus to make the rounds of some of the other shows being filmed here! ]

Maybe them refusing to listen is why they "should have" been there though. Depending on who you ask. Isn't it a little suspicious you guys were the only ones that wound up in jail? While the guy leading this thing didn't?

Aradia said it was because we lacked faith in the ritual for the portal. I did suspect it would be a trap, or that we were being lied to about where we were sent...

You guys were probably used as a distraction. I seriously doubt faith had anything to do with it.

... To keep them from noticing... But they didn't— There were only two guards watching us. That can't have been enough of a distraction to take all of Hell's attention off of Heaven.

After talking with some people though, it seems like one of the people in the group that didn't get jailed was probably trying to stay in the same level as Hell as you guys. To go after Exael. It would be a great distraction for them. I could be wrong though.

Is that it... It does not make sense when you consider what actually happened.

If someone intended to go after Exael, then how incompetent do they have to be to succeed in sending so many of us to her level of Hell but fail to make it there themselves?

It was Absinthe doing the ritual, but he wasn't the one going afte Exael. What I'm saying is there were maybe two groups in hell. Like I said though, I could be wrong. But from talking to people there's a good chance this one guy was going after Exael as his own mission.

Double Moon—Gold's weird temmates—and I got a ride with him to the hotel in his domain. Before he dropped us off, he and I talked about proper risk assessment and planning, and I...told him to select his men better next time. To avoid another such debacle.
