Dream Seer Game
Who: Idols
Where: The Game Tower
When: Evening, 131
[ The game tower elevator doors open to a dark expanse, mist hemming in the edges of your vision. The whole scene seems to waver, as if it is not within the bounds of reality but some scene from a dream that will soon dissipate when the light of day comes.
Rather than a host's hologram usual distinct preamble and hologram, instead there is a poorly defined figure seen dimly in the distance. They reach out, and open a door, disappearing inside a house which emerges from the fog as if something sunken revealed, at last, by low tide.
Your phone vibrates: the rules now displayed on the glowing screen, mapping out what you should do from here as you venture into the darkness. ]

RULES
[ An unquiet spirit haunts halls created from its own memories.
Six people perished in this house. But you are tasked with finding out, best you can, about this one spirit and what happened that led to its demise
Each participant may ask one question each, at any point during the game. The spirit cannot communicate in words and will send you images in a dream-- unfortunately, it might not always be clear what the spirit means.
You will know what question was asked of the spirit, and all of you will receive the vision.
You may also explore the house, to try and find locations, names, etc to see if that sheds some light on things.
In the last half hour of the game, the spirit will indicate who currently is the closest to understanding the circumstances of its death.
The game ends once three hours have passed.
The winners will be the top half of units participating who were able to guess the circumstances of the spirit's death ]

EXPLORE:
Though you were told to solve a murder, the courtyard is set up for what looks like a party of sorts. A magician's stage has been erected in the center, and an array of chairs has been circled around the front— not folding garden chairs but high backed cushioned arm-chairs, an ottoman, and a couch. The scene is lit by twinkling lights, erratically drifting through the fog, landing and launching themselves aloft again.
Not far from the magicians stage, a fountain burbles, starting and stopping without any real sense of rhythm.
An outdoor coatcheck before anyone enters one of the rooms has also been set up, right by a photography screen— props and costume items waiting to be worn by it.
To the north you can see a greenhouse, and besides it a set of stairs leading up to another place. There are doors leading west, east, and south too. ]

THE GREENHOUSE
[ The door of the greenhouse swings open with the lightest touch— Willkommen, bienvenue, welcome. Happy to see you, rest, stay. The cold and mist of the outside does not follow you in, as heat evaporates the chill and leaves you warmed with a heady feeling. A tipsy feeling. In the embrace of the fragrance and the warmth, this place seems like a refuge from the outside world— though be careful where you step. For some reason, jewel fragments are strewn about the room, amber and amethyst amongst plain glass shards, chipped and sharp. But more than that, look up— the glass shards show that above some of the panes have been smashed through, as if something heavy fell through from above.
But most the glass would have fallen to the pond directly below it. The heat seems to emanate from there, the water shining a strange indistinct gold from an unknown light like a distant sun deep under the water's surface. Above, lilypads pass across the surface like clouds, buoyant and large enough to sit upon. If you crossed into the center of the pond, you could reach flowering vines that hang down through the puncture in the roof of the greenhouse to find out what lies above.
Topiary cut to look like dancing girls encircle flower beds, clover and moss spilling over their pedestals as if providing a soft carpet for their bare feet alone. ]

how... deep and wide is this pond? is there finagling that needs to be done to cross it?]

Up a steep and very narrow staircase!
The room inside is a mess. The bedroom has been ransacked. A clock is broken, the drawers thrown open, men's suiting with rich patterns thrown everywhere. The bed looks slept in, but given the state of the room, it's equally likely it was searched. A closet door stands open, besides a crackling fire place. It smells like something burning in here, the air singed.
Somewhere in the room, you hear ticking. ]

does the beetle react to anything if lav holds it up (without releasing it yet)? she'll try holding it closer to the clock, the closet, the fireplace, and the bed.]

The Balcony
But the balcony wraps around, and should you continue around the corner, the wind blows here and keeps it free of the near ever-present mist. Wind-chimes cling a nostalgic sound, and from here you can see the stars above, arrayed in unfamiliar constellations. Whatever form the Game Tower has taken to conform to the spirit's memories, it's not the view of Earth's night sky. It's darker here, without the moon or the lights of the house, but it seems to be a good place to clear the head. A telescope sits on the balcony, pointed upwards, and a large paper has been unfurled. A machine you don't recognize, which seems to have a tuning fork attachment hums to itself at nearby. ]

Library
Butterflies sit on the shelves, like little lines of insect guards in front of the books. If you find them suspicious, they're easy to avoid disturbing them by sticking to the edges of the room, rather than crossing the center to get to the door on the west-ward wall, unless you really want to go through the center.
Since. Did we mention the bear. ]

THE STUDY
A machine you don't recognize stands up against one wall, humming.
The desk has a nice high-backed leather chair with which to sit at, and an empty snake cage upon it, snake nowhere to be seen. A photograph sits nearby, besides an old fashioned rotary phone.
The phone is ringing. ]

END GAME
Pep! Pep!, and avante en garde as winners from the first round of guessing.
sensitIV and Heart Soldier Senshi recieve points for the second round of guessing.
Everyone who played will also notice they got awarded points as if they won, but that their phone does not show them as the winners and their units did not receive participation points with them, just the usual 100.
The mist about the mansion becomes thicker, blocking out the detail of the area around them, and in the blank white expanse a new door opens: the elevator back down out of the game tower. No explanation is offered about what they just experienced. ]

Of course he regrets it as soon as he gets out of the elevator...
