well, you don't get a choice. it's like the floor drops out from underneath you, a wrenching feeling in your stomach as you fall through what ought to be solid floor but now is permeable. you fall.

You're in the Game Tower, you can tell by the view outside the windows. but the floor you are in has been cleaved down the middle into two halves. a black abyss separates them, too wide to cross though you can see and shout across. each half is, recognizably, a bastardization of a courtroom. avante en garde, pep!pep!, WILD CITY, and ☆ZRAEL occupy one half; AlcheME!, Taisho Roman Revolution, sensitIV and future is now, the other. For those that were monochrome or silhouetted, you'll find at your feet an accessory for your unit-- in this moment, putting it on will center you. It may not do much for your physical condition, but your mental clarity and emotions will return the moment you don it.

On the one hand I'm more than ready to out talk anyone who wants to try getting into an argument with me. On the other, the thought of going along with their whole 'prove your innocence' shtick feels gross.

First point is irrelevant. You can already out talk most people that would want to get into an argument with you.

Sounds its only a matter of does feeling "gross" outweigh whatever happens to those that are found guilty.

... All we've got to do is prove our own 'innocence'. Not mention any other units, even if they seem like they want us to throw each other under the bus.

Has there been a time since you joined, where you've seen us not act like the bunch of dysfunctional roommates that we fucking are. Except for when Three stormed out but he wasn't being a team player.

Not a time, but I would argue that charging us for the crimes of an individual no longer actively participating in the unit should hardly count as a valid argument.

So then charge #2, selling out the well-being of your own unit for the sake of politics.

That has been true for every game we have played as a unit. Let's ignore the last individual game. We've even been on brand by letting random numbers settle the dispute for us much as I fucking hate that approach.

Unfortunately, most of the martyr units are currently judging us for our crimes or on the other side of the courthouse. I wonder if there is a connection there.

Justice seems to be a subjective term around here. I suggest we go into the pure facts of the matter, which cannot be argued.

Boss: also that Hiryuu has connections off-unit but they tend to come over more frequently than she goes over
Boss: FiN's still the odd man out
Boss: and it's pissing me off
