It’s not as though I don’t understand your concerns. But the way you two were talking sounded more like mockery than actually caring about us. It doesn’t help that I’ve never even met you before, sir. You certainly owe Spidey-kun an apology for speaking about him like that.

More than just saying "I'm sorry"... even if it wasn't intended the way it happened, what was said, how it was said, and the timing of it was all wrong and shouldn't have been said at all. And I reacted poorly even after.

I don't have any defense, so... I'm sorry. And I'll understand if you all will just want to leave it at this.

... not the way I said it. I was very careless and frivolous with the actual sentiment, because I knew Oni would understood how it was meant--forgetting my positioning at the time and that that way of speaking isn't appropriate.

I don't want to... subjugate anyone. And I know it's hypocritical for me to say I want to stop people from feeling the need to take risks when they feel it's necessary, when I'm just as guilty. I don't think anyone is wrong for feeling that way, and I don't think Heart Soldier Senshi is so careless with that sort of decision. Or that they make things difficult for Wire--that was a poor joke because I know Oni likes Wire.

I was just stupid about it. And even got defensive with Hiryuu when she was in the right. So... I don't have any excuse for it, like I said.

But. I do want to make it up to you guys, if you'll allow for it. Because I do like the people on Heart Soldier Senshi and because I know it wasn't an easy choice for Spidey to make then--it's not like I reacted quick enough then, either.

But tell me. If that wasn’t how you meant it, then what way did you mean your comments? What exactly was your sentiment supposed to be?

... I was thinking of the situation like how I would if Heart Soldier Senshi were like my unit. Hiryuu was right in that I wasn't considering Heart Soldier Senshi has their own ways of doing things. And while I have checked in on Spidey and Hurricane after the first game... it wasn't right for me to just make assumptions.

I guess I just hate the idea of splitting us into groups when it comes to how we'd react to that sort of situation, so I'd want to keep anyone from having to make that decision, if I could help it.

I don't believe that, I'm sorry. I can believe that you wanted to think of us as a community, and that what you said was an unconscious thought meant as a joke, but you lumped us all together as one Unit. You were the one saying it should be assumed we would all think and act the same way. You were the one treating all of Heart Soldier Senshi's members, apart from Wire-san, as if we were all going to act the same way and were the problem children that needed to be cared for.

[He can feel himself getting aggressive and stops there, taking a deep breath before continuing.]

When you say, even as a joke, that Heart Soldier Senshi as a collective are children that need help with taking care of themselves, and you are the ones in a position to provide that help, then you are automatically differentiating us from you. Perhaps you and Oni-san weren't thinking about yourselves in terms of a Unit, but you certainly lumped us all together. Whether intentional or not, conscious thought or not, 'let's not assume all of them haven't reached rebellious teenage stage' is a statement of division and superiority. We were not individuals to you, and we were not members of the community as a whole. We were 'them', with no right of choice. I don't think that's what you want either, I believe you when you say you want to keep anyone from making that decision, but it's what you said.

For the things I said--that it wasn't my intent to hurt you or your team doesn't matter since what I said clearly did... I'm sorry.

I don't have any excuse or defense for it, though I can offer explanations that'll sound very childish. I wasn't keeping in mind the situation and the position I was putting myself in. Moreover, instead of acknowledging your rightful anger, I got defensive and reacted poorly.

I only have my apology and a promise it won't happen again--no matter the situation--to offer, but I can understand if you want to leave it here. I'm sorry.
