Shuten would probably have a lot of thoughts as to why one dragon shouldn't approach another one. Abi not so much. Abi's movement seems to catch the creature's eyes and it goes very still--scenting the air, not that he'd know. ]

[he smells like rocks or something equally not at all tasty.

He raises his hands in a completely non threatening gesture. Look, he just wants to say hi]

[ Yes, it's a very bland smell. For a moment, nothing happens, and then in a seamless motion, the dragon lifts its wings and then beats them down with a heavy whooshing gust as as it hunches and springs up with its legs to achieve lift. A few more flaps, and then--it's gliding down, landing right in front of him, putting her long muzzle level with his nose so that her large, violet cat-slit eyes are staring right at him. ]

I thought that might be you, Abi.

[he is a little surprised by the transformation in general but not so much that she’s a dragon. Like, what else would she be tbh.]

Yes. We're in the middle of a game right now. ... Sort of. This is an "intermission," supposedly.

[um...that’s weird? Since when do games have intermissions? And the fact that it’s weird is worrying]

[ WELP. welp. she wishes she could reassure him. But she doesn't want to lie to him--he'll definitely find out the truth sooner or later. what if she just carefully nuzzles her scaly face against his cheek? ]

Yes. A lot of people are already hurt or dead. I'm okay though.

[oh no. He wasn’t asking for reassurance, he just wanted to know what was happening.

He likes the nuzzles though and lifts a hand to pet her]

[ She doesn't mind the petting and will let him touch her freely. ]

Don't be sorry. I'm glad that you and Primrose and Mori and Eclipse missed it. When it's over, we're all going to need a lot of help. We'll be counting on you.
