I'm having Doctor over the evening after tomorrow, it's for something sort of important, and I could use some help decorating the theatre. I'm awful at this sort of thing.

Lupine offered to help grow flowers for me, but that's about as far as I got. Doctor's so good at things like this, I think I bit off way more than I can chew.

We could probably set the lighting up so it's something atmospheric... I bet there's a way to make the ceiling look like there's stars all across it. That might be a nice touch?

[ Aliza looks ridiculously relieved, then she looks like she might burst into tears or into an "I can't do this what was I thinking ahhhhhh!" moment, but she pulls it together. This is important. ]

Yeah. That'll go well with the moonlight. The one thought I had was to incorporate our position colors somehow? His is purple. [ And hers obviously is deep red. ] I sort of have something I'd like to match if possible...

[ She reaches into a pocket and pulls out a men's ring made of meteorite and fire opals that shines purple and red when the light catches it. There's an engraving on the interior but it's in French. ]

Before you get any ideas, he knows to expect this. We already discussed it and we've been calling ourselves engaged for a little while, privately. It's more something he can hold onto when we're apart. He didn't pick it out, is all. [ Hence the nerves ]

I bet we could definitely work some purples in with the night sky, even if we had to paint a backdrop or something... and maybe red flowers to match the ring?

I'm pretty good at anything physical. Running, fighting and tumbling, singing and violin, painting and sculpting, any games that involve throwing or aim. Some of that's muscle memory from all the tricks I had to learn. Cooking is the exception, but I think that's a patience and attention problem.

I'm awful at anything mental. Cleverness, words in general, managing emotions, all that.

Well, there's still a lot I don't know about myself. I think I'm pretty skilled in the fighting department, but... maybe I'm not good with puzzles, or bad with directions or something.
