[ She shifts weight and flips the axe in her hand to offer it to him. Once she's relieved of it she'll fold her arms once more, mouth formed into a small bow while she thinks. ]

[He takes the axe, undoing the wrap because he's gonna use a better piece then scrap leather, and grabbing his apron.]

So did you have any questions?

[Grabbing some tools to double check measurements, make sure there aren't any flaws he didn't notice the first go around.]

[ She'd be fine with leaving it in silence for a moment, has enough of her own thoughts. Doesn't want to distract him, but he speaks first. A brow raises that he probably can't see - because of course she has questions.

But she also has her own stubbornness issues. Thinks about how to go on and then shrugs slightly. It's not a question, but it's sort of a question. ]

[He doesn't press other then asking. Opening the door for her, so to speak, as he focuses on the axe.]

[Hmmm, he could replace the handle. That is definitely a lower quality since he just needed it for tests.]

[ That is the question, isn't it? She shakes her head some: ]

The public ones are cheaper.

[ Which means getting them back faster and possibly to save up for more. The but hangs in the air. Because she doesn't really like that idea, either. ]

Exactly how public is public?

The memory appears on any screens nearby. [He pulls out his phone.] What they call these, and the device you put your team color into. Any black glass kind of thing is likely a screen. [He puts the phone back and focuses on detaching the handle.]

It also doesn't matter how much you get away from screens, it'll play on the nearest ones even if you're out in the middle of the bay or something. Public means there is a chance someone is going to see.

[ So. Not ideal for if you don't want random people knowing your business. But also.. minmaxing. She taps a finger in the crook of her arm once more and then exhales, asks instead: ]

What was probably one of my worst memories got broadcasted pretty early, that was my own fault, so I didn't see much point spending the extra points for private stuff.

[And he had chosen public early on because he knew he had trouble connecting to people, his early freak outs were too obvious that he had a Problem, so he thought it was a way to try and counter act any potentially shutting people out.]

[ She thinks about asking about that. But decides not to. It sounds like... She'll find out eventually anyway.

It weirdly helps solve her own thoughts. Embarrassing seems to be like - normal. She'd rather do it on her own terms. Pulls out her own phone with a frown. It's the stubbornness to to know that outweighs possible embarassment when she finally exhales and asks: ]

[ She's not asking him to get his own memories, just for her - Because in her head it makes sense (and no, she's not worried, thanks -) ]

[He looks up at that.]

[Then he nods.] Of course.

Do you want me to take one too? [Because he'll offer. It was only fair.]

[He grabs a handle he was using for a project for Korone. She's...gone now, but the quality is good, he just needs to shorten the length.]

[ Another half shrug - trying to appear more nonchalant than she feels. She doesn't think she can distrust him, but she's still. Wary. ]

[ It might be taken as a challenge, but her tone isn't of that. She doesn't actually want him to think he has to. ]

I would say yes, but I also know tempting fate is a bad idea.

[ That's definitely a 'what's life without a little danger' kind of tone she has there, but she'll be quiet to let him work or say something else. ]

[ The question doesn't exactly earn a pause, but she does frown a little more deeply. There's plenty of questions she could ask, but she's still sorting through them. Makes a face as her hair falls back over at the gesture. ]

Besides Suoh, I imagine that hasn't been pleasant. I had to promise to be his coffin maker just to make sure no one actually tries to bury him. [Since there is obviously no coffin being made in here.] He's under a status effect.

Fine, I guess? [ She does in fact sound dubious, but she's not entirely sure she's a good teamplayer :u

But ah yes the mention of hawk, she makes a breath of a sound that's somewhere between exasperation and a laugh. ]

Yeah, that kid. Robin was recovering from something too and he was just proclaiming he was dead... Honestly, with everything going on I just went with it.

[ Until someone explained later but honestly, it just. Seemed better to go with it everything else was magic??? And they talked about regrowing limbs? And Hawk was earnest it didn't help. ]

Yeah, sometimes that's all you can do with status effects. If they're not causing any actual harm, sometimes the best thing is to let it work through their system.

Hopefully they'll be able to give a better impression when they're themselves again.

[Okay, grind grind grind, buff and check.]
