serious beverages only
Who: Honey, Alala, and you
Where: hotel lobby
When: Day 500, evening

[Honey has commandeered a table near the entrance of the hotel, on which are set two jars, one labeled COFFEE and one labeled TEA. Plus a pile of cutlery to stick in the jar of your choice.]
...Lala-san would like to know whether the residents of Imeeji prefer tea or coffee.
[ alala had been sitting, but he’s swiftly on his feet and slamming both of his hands on the table, jostling all of the carefully curated poll supplies. ] Yeah, because it seems like the majority of you are choosing the wrong thing~ [ is he trying to stir shit, absolutely. ]
...I don't have any preferences myself.
…Though I do think this choice is a little restrictive, considering the number of ways there are to prepare either beverage.
[ he sits back down… for about half a second, but then he’s on his feet again, because, oh!, that reminds him!!! ] Ah, right, and regardless of which you choose let’s hear why. Honey brings up a good point. What made you choose tea or coffee? Tell us your favorite way to prepare it and maybe you’ll convince the opposition to switch.
...Even if you're not inclined to argue over your choice of drink, understanding Imeeji's preferences seems like an important thing to know for future cafe-type Lives.
…Being able to anticipate the needs of the clientele will allow the units hosting the cafe to prepare adequate supplies. As such, your cooperation in gathering that data is appreciated.
…Um… Lala-san, do you have anything else to say?
I should probably cast my own vote, huh, though I think I’ve made my stance pre~tty clear. [ an obnoxious laugh follows as he snatches a spoon and gives it a dramatic little twirl only to, finally, drop it into the coffee jar. ] Nothing, and I mean nothing, beats a caramel latte!

Coffee or Tea?

You haven't had it, then?

...I like the sound of it, though.
...Mostly because of the chocolate.

...I've been trying the drinks at the Alfred Tea Room one by one, but...since the first drink I ever had there was milk tea, I've continued through the tea menu.
...It seems strange to go to a place called a 'tea room' to drink coffee, anyway.

I see! Yeah, that makes sense, though I bet their coffee is fine too. Brewing them is a little different, but the principles are pretty similar, I think.
There are places called "coffee shops" though, that might be right up your alley, if we have one here. It's worth looking.

...The question is really whether or not the coffee shop will be staffed, or if we'll be required to make the coffee ourselves.

...Not that I'm uninterested in learning how to make coffee, but I don't think the results of a first attempt at brewing it would serve as a good introduction to its delights.
