[ draws back then, finding . . . a position. hm.

it's clear that he's learned some sort of martial art at least because the position he finds to be comfortable and right has his side facing oni in a wide stance, one hand up in a loose fist with the other in front of his torso ]

. . . Then, when you're ready.

Yeah. Come at me.

[ he stands with his legs braced a bit wider apart, taking a breath in and curling his finger to encourage Shirou to strike. ]

[ taking a moment or so, taking a step back again before - he moves forward with an upward hooking fist, square in his chest. it's not his strongest - he doesn't remember enough to know where his strength is or how to direct it properly, especially without remembering the footwork involved and being too self-conscious - and fortunately he doesn't have Servant strength anymore, but it's still pretty fuckin hard. more than that, it's fast - even without remembering the footwork, he's pretty agile in his movement, quickly drawing back without letting his fist linger - instinctively, don't let the enemy get a chance to strike back. ]

[ it's not in a place where it would wind him and Majima is pretty sturdy despite his slim frame but it's still enough to make him take a step back, hold his hand up to his chest with a sharp breath out ]

-- damn. Ya musta been one hell of a fighter.

[ not quite relaxed, watching his reaction ]

. . . I had suspected that might be the case, but even though I don't remember anything, my body can remember this much, it seems. . .

With all the scars on ya it starts to make sense.

. . . Ah, you did notice them.

[ somewhat unhappily, but he smiles ]

I wonder what sort of life I led before . . . ? No matter how I think of it, I can't imagine it was a happy one. Still, I wonder if I enjoyed fighting back then?

[ with a pause, before he speaks again to switch subjects: ]

Sorry, Oni-san. Even though you told me to use all of my strength, I didn't manage to do that, either. What should we do now?

I figure, you musta enjoyed fightin' if you were enjoyin' getting thrown around like that. Ain't nothin' weird about it.

[ hmm, he shakes out an arm ]

Well, did ya just wanna test what ya do remember? Or what your body remembers.

[sancrimony]

Since I don't remember anything, it will have to be what my body remembers, if you don't mind.

[ pulling his hair back, shaking out some of the grass ]

Though, I can't promise anything.

Just gimme your best shot, and I'll be happy.

Oni-san is so kind to me.

[ settling into his stance again, on the balls of his feet ]

Will you do me a favor and take the first move, then?

[ he nods --

and moves forward, stepping forward with his right foot, aiming a sharp jab at Shirou's face ]

[ watching his movement - he knows he should move away from the hand but how should he do it? to the side or to the back?

in the end his body decides for him, moving sharply under the jab instead of either to the side or to the back, stepping forward to turn his body and try to jab his elbow into oni's side ]

[ he's come to anticipate more of Lucifel's reactions now that he's expecting him to have experience -- he's hit by the elbow to his side but in turn he brings his knee up to try to bring it into Luci's stomach, grabbing for his shoulder at the same time to keep him down. ]

[sancrimony]

[ he can see it but he's not fast enough to move away from that, and he's kneed in the stomach - that's a solid wall of braced muscle oni is kneeing into - and at the same time he's grabbing for it, looping his arms around oni's leg to try bodily throwing him off balance and ideally onto the ground with a sound of pained effort ]

[ -- his weight is sent towards the ground but he's grabbing for Luci's clothes to try to drag him down with him, roll his weight on top of the smaller man. ]

[ with the way they fall oni ends up on lucifel's shoulderblades, back to his head. lucifel in the meantime is trying to slip out from underneath him, knees on the ground as he reaches to try grabbing oni's clothes and yank him backwards ]

Shit --

[ he tries to keep solid on him, crawl to put weight on Lucifel's torso with a hand as he's yanked; now that he's on top it will be difficult to get him off. ]

[sancrimony]

[ he can't really kick him while he's on his stomach but he can't reach far enough to do anything, especially with this sort of weak grip, so he's trying to twist around to at least get on his back, kicking at the ground to try bucking him off or at least get himself in a better position ]

[ Lucifel can get on his back, as Majima lifts himself up to his knees a bit but he's just as quick to sit the fuck back down, grabbing for Lucifel's hair and trying to slam his head to the ground. if he's worried about Lucifel's delicateness at this point it's not showing. ]

[ oh

stunned a bit for a moment, eyes wide, and he reaches up to grab at anything - oni's wrist, arm, whatever - and try to pull him down, turning to try reversing their positions, or really just try to slam him into the ground, whichever works ]

[grandschemed]

[ for a moment - - he's caught, looking at Lucifel's face, concern knocking him out of the haze of adrenaline for a second and that's enough for their positions to be reversed, the second he lets his guard down.

he's on his back now but he's trying to elbow up at Lucifel's face to get him back. ]

[sancrimony]

[ he isn't actually interested in keeping him down, rolling away as soon as he manages to reverse their positions - it's an abrupt turn and he's narrowly missing the elbow, scrambling to be on his feet, crouched low with fingertips to the ground. there isn't a trace of human emotion on his face as he watches him with a careful eye, nothing but calculation and fight instinct visible on his face. ]
