[ watching his movement - he knows he should move away from the hand but how should he do it? to the side or to the back?

in the end his body decides for him, moving sharply under the jab instead of either to the side or to the back, stepping forward to turn his body and try to jab his elbow into oni's side ]

[ he's come to anticipate more of Lucifel's reactions now that he's expecting him to have experience -- he's hit by the elbow to his side but in turn he brings his knee up to try to bring it into Luci's stomach, grabbing for his shoulder at the same time to keep him down. ]

[ he can see it but he's not fast enough to move away from that, and he's kneed in the stomach - that's a solid wall of braced muscle oni is kneeing into - and at the same time he's grabbing for it, looping his arms around oni's leg to try bodily throwing him off balance and ideally onto the ground with a sound of pained effort ]

[ -- his weight is sent towards the ground but he's grabbing for Luci's clothes to try to drag him down with him, roll his weight on top of the smaller man. ]

[ with the way they fall oni ends up on lucifel's shoulderblades, back to his head. lucifel in the meantime is trying to slip out from underneath him, knees on the ground as he reaches to try grabbing oni's clothes and yank him backwards ]

Shit --

[ he tries to keep solid on him, crawl to put weight on Lucifel's torso with a hand as he's yanked; now that he's on top it will be difficult to get him off. ]

[ he can't really kick him while he's on his stomach but he can't reach far enough to do anything, especially with this sort of weak grip, so he's trying to twist around to at least get on his back, kicking at the ground to try bucking him off or at least get himself in a better position ]

[ Lucifel can get on his back, as Majima lifts himself up to his knees a bit but he's just as quick to sit the fuck back down, grabbing for Lucifel's hair and trying to slam his head to the ground. if he's worried about Lucifel's delicateness at this point it's not showing. ]

[ oh

stunned a bit for a moment, eyes wide, and he reaches up to grab at anything - oni's wrist, arm, whatever - and try to pull him down, turning to try reversing their positions, or really just try to slam him into the ground, whichever works ]

[grandschemed]

[ for a moment - - he's caught, looking at Lucifel's face, concern knocking him out of the haze of adrenaline for a second and that's enough for their positions to be reversed, the second he lets his guard down.

he's on his back now but he's trying to elbow up at Lucifel's face to get him back. ]

[ he isn't actually interested in keeping him down, rolling away as soon as he manages to reverse their positions - it's an abrupt turn and he's narrowly missing the elbow, scrambling to be on his feet, crouched low with fingertips to the ground. there isn't a trace of human emotion on his face as he watches him with a careful eye, nothing but calculation and fight instinct visible on his face. ]

[ he laughs sharp before he can stop himself, pushing himself back up to his feet. drawing his fists back like he's ready to strike again. ]


Ya really are somethin'.

[ oh there are words coming out of the thing oh right it's a person OH IT'S ONI-SAN ]

. . . Eh? Something . . . ?

I had no idea you were gonna be this tough.

Well, I don't want to disappoint you . . .

[grandschemed]

Yer doin' the farthest thing from it.

Oh, that's a relief.

[ stillllll watching him, sort of splitting his attention to the conversation and attention to his movements 30/70 ]

Uhm . . . Is this fun yet?

[grandschemed]

It's fun for me. How 'bout you?

[ takes half a step forward, watching to see how he reacts. ]

[ well he's not like, afraid, and he stands a little more upright, starting to curl fists ]

Fun . . . I'm not really certain, yet.

[ but his mind feels clearer and sharper than it did before and the soreness on his head and his body isn't unwanted ]

I'd like to try, just a bit more . . .

Then don't let up.

[ his feet quicken as he steps forward again and lifts his leg for a sharp kick to Lucifel's side. ]

[ oh legs can also do things

he braces, bringing his arm up to guard his side as he hunches - in that second of leg meeting arm he's lurching forward, ducked down to spring up and punch at oni's face, right at his blind side ]

[ it being the blind side makes that hard to react to -- his depth perception's off just enough it connects, but he's taking it, lifting his hand up to grab Lucifel's arm and tug him towards a knee in the stomach ]

[ oh even though he figured out how he should escape from that he can't now

trying to move closer, faster, so that oni doesn't have the space to give a powerful knee - and he's trying to hook his leg around oni's standing leg, to try to push against him so he'd lose his balance ]

[grandschemed]

[ there's not enough space for a knee but he can still get his leg between him -- lean into it so even when he's pushed by Lucifel he can try to keep standing by leaning his weight into him. ]

[ groping around to grab him by his waist, trying to take his weight and - just like, try to bodily flip him over to the side FALL DAMMIT ]
