I don't get tired either. Usually. And I don't need to eat human food, but I like to. [ She'd be hungry if she didn't, but it's not like eating human food makes her less hungry. ]

I don't stay mad for very long. You just hit a sore spot. And you're doing me a favor. So.
bondsofsuffering: ([Strain] And the words you)

Hmm~

I'll only eat it if we share it, then. And if you decide you don't want to share it after all, you don't have to.

I see. Our resident vampire didn't mention something about that.

...

Eugene doesn't count as yours, by the way, you still have to come up with one.

Yes, that's perfect. I especially like the part where you lied about it being more valuable than the points. Go start telling everybody that.

That's perfect! Now you can continue the tradition by gifting it to me!

I prefer to think of it as a creative perspective rather than lying, but as you say.

That's true. It's a shame.

You know what would solve that problem? If you went and got some points and then gave them to me.
sangreine: neutral :: serious (truth)

[personal profile] sangreine 2022-02-17 11:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh. I can do that. [ It's not like eating will hurt her, she's just not in the mood. ]

Did you hit my sore spot on purpose? [ Just idly curious, she isn't capable of being mad or suspicious or hurt. ]
bondsofsuffering: ([Look] take another step)

[personal profile] bondsofsuffering 2022-02-17 11:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Hm? No. I don't really make a habit of tormenting people randomly.

Apparently we give each other names.

So you should try and put yourself in a very Zrael state of mind when suggesting one, I suppose.

[Beat.]

Also, my profile says I'm a witch, so something up that road would be nice.
sangreine: glancing :: neutral :: huh (hearth)

[personal profile] sangreine 2022-02-17 11:18 pm (UTC)(link)
That's good. It sounds like a bad habit.

[ tiniest pause ]

Do you like patterns and things? You talk about that a lot... well. Maybe not a lot, I don't know how much it comes up. Just something I wondered about.
bondsofsuffering: ([Sorry] the dead ends as)

[personal profile] bondsofsuffering 2022-02-17 11:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, I've studied a lot of human biology, so I guess you could say I'm used to looking for them. Patterns in behaviors and so on.

But also, biologically speaking, humans are made to recognize those patterns. It's what helps us to understand and navigate the world.

Oh. I don't understand humans at all most of the time. [ Individually sure, but not as a whole. ]

As a new performer I have no points to offer you! However, I can humbly offer you a name befitting your commanding nature.
bondsofsuffering: ([Smile] An abyss into which)

[personal profile] bondsofsuffering 2022-02-17 11:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Actual behaviors can vary on an individual and cultural level, but there's some basic stuff hard coded into the genes, usually for purposes of survival.

Oi, oi, oi, oi. This isn't a fish bowl where you just toss in a name and maybe it gets picked. This is a prestigious opportunity to bid very important naming rights. It's the buy of a century!

Go do a Live right this instant, then come back here and give me the points.

[personal profile] sangreine 2022-02-17 11:40 pm (UTC)(link)
So if something doesn't want to live, does that mean there's something really basic wrong with them? Or is that just for humans?

I'm not sure if I'm a person at all so I don't know if it still applies.
warpweft: (Default)

[personal profile] warpweft 2022-02-17 11:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, that's good.

You should be a writer!
bondsofsuffering: ([Think] in hope.)

[personal profile] bondsofsuffering 2022-02-17 11:44 pm (UTC)(link)
That's usually considered a failure on a biological level, since biologically most things are wired to survive and breed, but...

That's assuming everyone operated entirely on the instincts granted to them by their genes, isn't it? Humans aren't so simple - and I doubt vampires like you are, either.
