ART LIVE
Who: Fox, and you...?
Where: The lobby
When: Day 41, around midday
[time for a calligraphy Live! in the lobby there's some floor space that's been covered in many sheets of paper--probably about 13 by 13 feet, it's taking up a good portion. taisho's fox (wearing this) sans shoes) has gathered buckets of different colored inks, and he stands at the edge of the "canvas" in bare feet, pointing his paintbrush directly at the camera.]
"Blossoms fall, and leaves scatter". Behold!
[in a rush, he begins painting four stylized characters that are large enough to cover the entire space. it looks kind of like this:

[he finishes, panting, with ink stains on his clothes... and then picks up a bucket of black ink, and, in a whirlwind movement, splashes the ink over e v e r y t h i n g. it completely blots out the characters he's just spent a good twenty minutes painting. he looks triumphantly into the camera and declares:]
This is what my heart expresses. I challenge anyone watching this: cast off the things that are holding you back! Declare it here, in ink and brush, and then destroy it!
[he peels back the ruined paper to reveal another layer underneath, blank and fresh (save for a few stray inky footprints).]
Well, then. Is anyone up to the task?

So what's the point of all that again? Is it meant to by symbolic?
no subject
Insofar as all artistic expression is "symbolic".
[he does the finger quotes]
It is motivating, and cathartic. And fun.
