[What do you do while lying in bed feverishly awake and thinking, getting progressively more angry about progressively more frivolous things? You pull out your phone and rant to the group chat, obviously.]

Maki: This is Maki, from Taisho.
Maki: A lot of people probably feel like they know what that means, and even what this is going to be about.
Maki: Well, you're wrong, and THAT'S what I want to talk about.
Maki: People keep acting like they can judge a whole unit based on the actions of one or two people. Or like a unit all has the same opinion. Or even the same personality type. Whether it's Taisho, or avante, or anyone...
Maki: It's incredibly stupid.
Maki: They brought us all here and gave us a name and a color scheme and a set of traits. What do you think they're trying to do?
Maki: They're trying to mold us just how they want to. They're pushing us to act out the characters they set for us. They want us to see each other as the groups THEY defined for us.
Maki: Why are people so happy to do that?/?

foxglove: also some of us do genuinely love and want to part of our unit
foxglove: like in general in life you get assigned a group at birth you're part of this isn't really a thing unique to idol hell

sanguine: i think some people end up using it as a shorthand, which really isn't always applicable
sanguine: or even mostly applicable in some cases
sanguine: you can say, "Bad End is like that" but what you REALLY mean is "one or two people from Bad End are like that"
sanguine: it's an oversimplification at best
sanguine: but people like to put people in boxes
