there's this one where she wakes someone up from stasis who she seems to care about, but who turns out to have amnesia, in a deeply ironic twist.
this one has a doctor examining her hands for worsening symptoms, although she seems to be fine; there's some tension between her examiner and the individual from the first memory.
oh, well, she knows an instrument? not useful in this moment, though.
oh. that's a lot. uhhhhhh that's really a lot and she does not have time to unpack the rage of an unknown past warrior or the fact that she can make swords appear or the fact that someone called her "the enemy of humanity."
oh thank goodness there's one about medical treatment because she was almost out of points. ]
Ehhhhhh... maybe I shouldn't have bought all of those at once...

It's a cute (?) memory. A young Skylark gets his food and money stolen, an exciting chase ensues followed by an equally exciting (and maybe somewhat distressing, when you consider that there was biting) brawl. And then he and the thief get robbed themselves, and Skylark ends up sharing his food with the thief. If you know who Crane is, you will definitely recognise who the thief was. ]

He's in middle school... and gets lost, scared, and then overwhelmed after winding up in a dive bar with a washed-up idol, before having a number of CD's shoved into his hands. The idol... and the music itself though leaves a profound impact on him.
He's quiet when it finishes... feeling a little complicated, before quietly beginning to search the music store app in order to see if 'Backgammon' is on there. ]

Morning - Witnesses OK!
The first is a memory of traveling in a mountainous region to a country nestled at the foot of a mountain. The country had a reputation for being rude to travelers, but Kino is warmly welcomed by a crowd upon entry, and they meet a friendly young girl named Sakura who comes from a family of innkeepers. Sakura offers them a place to stay at her family's inn.
The second follows a young child with long brown hair greeting a tall traveler in a familiar brown coat who gives his name as Kino. The child gives their name in return, although the memory goes quiet, obscuring just the name. The child is from a family of innkeepers, and they lead Kino to their home, where Kino is able to get a room and the child returns to their own. In the child's room, a large paper stuck to the wall has the words "3 MORE DAYS" written on it in large red letters.
This memory causes them to pause, eyes wide for a moment before they begin mashing the memory button urgently.
The third is of a slightly younger Kino facing a tall, well-toned man in a practice knife fight with rubber knives. Kino holds their own fairly well, but receives a hit when the man brings out a hidden second knife. Kino thanks him for the practice but is clearly frustrated because they've lost fifty-four times, and would have died fifty-four times if any of those were real matches. Master, amused, tells Kino they can win if they use their knowledge and experience from their previous defeats.
They mash the button again.
The fourth is of the country with Sakura again. They finish up a lavish lunch and head out to a mechanic to have Hermes fixed up. Sakura and Kino enjoy tea while waiting for the repairs, and residents continue to greet Kino warmly. Eventually the repairs are completed and they all return to the inn for dinner and sleep.
They mash the button again.
The fifth is another memory of a slightly younger Kino listening as Master recounts a tale of a country she visited with a man she only ever refers to as her Partner. The police were wealthy and corrupt and wrongly arrested Partner to try to squeeze money out of them, so Master pretended to leave only to return and break Partner out during the night while setting off pre-planted explosives in police cars and power stations. They then holed up in a tower at the center of the city and shot at the legs of the police for three days until the police gave into the extremely public defeat and agreed to pay them to leave. Kino seems highly entertained by the tale.
They don't press the button again, instead standing in silence as they process the new memories.]

Except the memory itself is not... horribly telling. It's Levity back in Amaurot times observing a queue in a somewhat somber manner.
Despite the utter lack of action or anything genuinely significant happening, Levity grows a little pale at the memory... and then buys it again to rewatch.
Again.
Again.
Third time's the charm, perhaps, because he finally sets his phone down at that, steepling his fingers together and resting his chin against them, staring ahead a little blankly. Whatever this memory was really about, it seems to have affected him.]

[Alisaie tries to find somewhere reasonably private for all this. The 150-point discount for a public memory is too good to pass up, but that hardly means she should sit in the lobby and make it easy for all comers to look on.
[She takes three this time, and the first is so short she feels cheated. She stands beneath a blazing and broken sky arguing with a girl her own age, about the telling of kindly lies, and there's that figure again, the one that burns too bright to see. Something's wrong with them, and terribly - something, ironically enough, to do with a surfeit of light. But how could she possibly be expected to tell, she wonders, and purchases another.
[The second has her carried, semi-conscious, through the snow to the house of a stranger. Her brother is there (and that figure) and she's horribly, pathetically glad to see him: it feels like something that hasn't happened in far too long. She sleeps, and then she wakes, and there are chirugeons and bedsheets and tinctures of this or that; then her brother again (and always that figure) and they talk again of summonings and strange gods. Primals, Scions, Ascians: the concepts bed down and bloom, filling in gaps in her memory and mind. In her memory, she stands and demands to be included. Sorry, brother. You're not leaving me out this time.
[The third has her step into a massacre. Soldiers implacably cut down the surrendered, the wounded, non-combatants, and a friend lies bleeding into the dust. A tyrant raises his sword and is stopped simply by chance from striking down that glowing figure she tried and failed to protect. Adventurer, huh.
[It only sounds exciting until it's happening to someone you love.]
