As for why I would worry... Well, I suppose because it costs me nothing to do so?

I do think you are an interesting individual in your own right. But I would not necessarily wish to check on you specifically did not the web of our connections bind us. I say this not to be hurtful, merely because it seems you would not accept anything less.

Yeah, that's better. And it's not hurtful. I wouldn't expect you to care about me specifically without a particular reason to... So not telling me the reason just means it could be something weird. "Because I matter to Vergil" is a fine reason.

...Anyway. I'm not great, I guess. Nero's still only forgotten Vergil as far as I know, but...

I have not heard otherwise. Save that his understanding of his relationship to you and Raven is shifted? Or did I misunderstand?

...It depends what you heard last. Apparently he and Vergil were making progress again when he seemed to be in pain, and then suddenly didn't recognize him at all.

Mine hasn't changed, though. He was saying he has the family he chose... he chose me, and Raven as a brother, so that part's the same. He doesn't think of Raven as his father, but that's because he doesn't recognize him as part of Vergil, I think.

Interesting. So is it specifically Vergil only he is losing? Or has lost, as it were.

That's what it seems like. Raven said he didn't know Dante was his uncle either, but that's probably also just because he forgot his blood relationship to Vergil. He didn't seem to have forgotten everything that brought him closer to Dante in the same way he had with Vergil... he even said Dante would be a better father.

...I don't know. I wanted to ask Hadassah about the flower ritual, and if she knows anything about this, but... I don't know how to reach her.

It's weird that we haven't noticed anything happening to the other people with flower marks. I assume this will somehow all come to more of a head at some point, and we'll be able to get more information then... But I hate just waiting to see what happens. Especially if it means something similar will happen to Vergil...
