A Bad End Christmas

[The dorms have undergone a bit of a transformation, with trees small and large decorating the common room. Chains have been strung up across the roof draping lights in different colors and metalwork stars around the room. On the wall with their unit name on it are several stockings, with each member's name sewn into the top in their position color.

And it wouldn't quite be Christmas without a few presents under the tree.

But we can't forget what's going in our stomachs either-- There's hot chocolate, cranberry juice, eggnog, and mulled wine for some holiday flavor. Silk has the kitchen covered and more than a few of them have pitched in together on a variety of delicious treats from gingerbread to peppermint bark.

It's a nice time, worth sharing with family and friends, no matter how you spend it.]

in lieu of helping herself to food, she seems to have bought some cord and is making some ornaments while she hums something quietly to herself. ]

It's one of the high holy days of my religion, so quite familiar, in fact. Though we didn't really celebrate like this, growing up.

Well, they're fancy knotwork, but I thought it might be nice to have something a little, ah, brighter to decorate the trees with.

[Cobalt is wearing a pair of plush antlers wedged in between his normal ones.]

What are these socks for?

Ah, the stockings? They're to tuck small gifts in—it's an old tradition. Like a lot of holiday traditions there's a few reasons that have all gotten jumbled together over the years.

Apparently it's part of a tradition called "Christmas". Part of it is leaving a stocking out so an old man can break into your house and leave things in them.

[He's been reading up on it.]

[This guy is here. He has a bunch of tacky Christmas themed gift bags, but currently he's putting things in the stockings (I hope Bad End likes glowsticks/glow bracelets and Werther's Originals candy]

Oh, isn't that the candy from "Halloween"? There was supposed to be something scary about it.

[Has spent a large chunk of the day cooking. She is currently taking a roast turkey out of the oven]

Hopefully this turned out right. I haven't tried this before.

[After having helped some in the kitchen, Jack is sitting on one of the couches sipping at a glass of wine. Yes, somehow alcohol doesn't kill him, and he's discovered that the feeling of being just tipsy enough is kind of fun. He's also taking pictures of the decorations with his phone.]

[Ren has come bearing chocolates! She made plenty for each Bad End-er and then some!

Serenity's are notably different, in the shape of stars of varying sizes and designs.]

[A pink boy does show up at one point or another to see how everyone's doing (and sample food). He's probably more shy than the last time he was here, but he didn't invite himself and half his team over to set off fireworks in their courtyard this time so... maybe that's an improvement?]
