[Cardinal won't keep it up for long, only for a couple minutes or so as not to wear out the horse.]

No, and the bike has the added advantage that I'm the one driving.

[Cardinal dismounts, letting Five have the front seat.]

[Cardinal lightly vaults themself into the saddle behind them. They don't actually need to get touchy; they can balance on their own.]

[ there's a pause as they adjusts themselves, and he does look tense for a moment, but relaxes when the don't seem to need getting touchy ]

How are your new members?

[ he is extremely awkward and not even the least bit gracious as he dismounts, but he manages ]

One of them is a former member of Bad End, the other is someone from my world. From the Commission, no less. It may complicate things but so far it's going well enough.

The last seems sensible. And we've started hosting debriefings, so. We may be able to work on some actual team bonding.
