[ You are in an elevator, and it is not ascending into the Game Tower, no. This time, it's taking you down. You can feel it in the pit of your stomach, watch through the glass chassis as stone scrolls up and away and all around you becomes darkness.

And then, a screen flickers on. A bright, cheerful woman with fluffy pigtails waves at you with one hand, a brightly colored plastic crazy straw that's been speared through a few mango chunks in her other. Exael winks and speaks to the camera.

"And with summer comes what we all look forward to~ Summer Break! It's time to get away from hot stuffy Tokyo, and get away from it all! And so, everyone, we've brought your faa~avorite idols home here to you! In one of our very special hotels, for a very special game! Clasp your hands in prayer, hope real hard, and maybe you'll get a front row seat to their presence in the Hotel Omphalos!"

"May this show grant you Mirth, because soon starts—"

The broadcast cuts out.

The light does not return, as the elevator doors open. Instead, color so bright it can't be drowned out by the darkness spills in, and erodes the car away. You are left standing in an unfamiliar Hotel, and the game is just beginning. ]

[ more familiarizing himself with this casino, but in doing so he hasn't gotten anything that's very useful—besides the dynamite, that is—so he's rummaging around the restaurant, picking up knives as he finds them. ]

[walking in with a big monster dva curled at his side, which is helping him keep his balance. he's cut up, with gashes on his arms and neck, along with dark bruises from strangulation, and a big chunk of his shoulder missing, leaving an open, empty hole instead of exposed flesh]

Well, well, well. What do we have here?

[ she's still got her tentacles draped over raven, though one of them has been severed and is still oozing pink blood. she's also got a fair amount of black blood all over her... most notably around her maw. ]

[ she growls as soon as she spots lucifel.
it seems like we have dinner here,
but she'll spare raven a glance just to make sure it's okay. ]

hey what the f ]

—Raven-san. Meka-san—what happened to you!?

[his voice is rough and raspy as he speaks, and he gives dva a sidelong glance--he's contemplating what to do]

People keep killing me, for some reason. It's quite rude.

[ she moves out in front as soon as he mentions that he's been killed a couple of times. it IS rude, and she's not going to let it happen again. in fact, she's not going to give him the opportunity. ]

[ removing her tentacles from around raven she charges straight at lucifel... incoming brickshithouse! might 7. ]

[ —HEY? WHAT THE FUCK

immediately trying to get out of the way, though he's unable to (5)—she clears him (2 damage) and he's knocked down, though not without taking one of his knives to stab her (5 might) ]

[conversationally, as though dva didn't just pounce on lucifel]

Have you seen Aradia and Doodleman yet? I imagine they must be worried about you.

[ it's almost like she expects him to retaliate, because her tentacles are already moving to snare his wrist, might 8, to prevent him from driving that knife into her. ]

[ look, it's nothing personal, she's just a single mom-ster looking to feed her goth twink ♥ and it's lucifel's fault for looks so appetizing. she chomps down on the arm holding the knife, might 7. time to see if she can't get a little snacky~ in. ]

[ clearly he makes for a poor conversationalist because instead of responding he cries out, gasping in both pain and fear when dva's able to chomp down on his arm (7-3=4 damage) ]

—stop! I'm not—'m not food—

[ the flesh she chomps down on, interestingly, tastes sweet—though the texture is most certainly meat he tastes like apricots, or perhaps peaches ]

[raven laughs, husky and unhinged]

How does it feel? To be treated like food, like you only exist to be taken and consumed? It hurts, doesn't it? You only have a fraction of an idea, now, what sort of pain I'm in. Be grateful I've given this to you. You're nothing, now--you're just meat on a slab. How does it feel? How does it feel, Lucifel?

[ stop, he cries, i'm not food, but he tastes delicious, and so she's shoving a claw into his chest and jerking her head back ( might 7 ) to rip his arm off. ]

[ a slab of meat is right,
because if she's successful she'll be leaving lucifel momentarily to bring raven a present ♥ ]

No—not again—

[ his arm's torn off—for the sake of drama and shit he's not dying from his arm getting torn off but at the same time he IS using his free hand to shove dynamite into dva's mouth just as she's snapping at his arm,

please eat shit and die ♥ ]

[oh my god

DIVES UNDER A NEARBY TABLE TO AVOID THE BLAST]

...! [ she drops his arm as soon as he shoves a stick of dynamite in her mouth, but because this hissing stick doesn't taste nearly as good she grabs it with her tentacles to pull it out and insp-

[ KABOOM. ]

[ all three of the remaining tentacles get BLOWN OFF, sending a spray of pink blood all over the room. she's also looking a little charred around the edges, but she's still standing, because she's a motherfucken tank. ]

[ ?!?!?!?!?!?!?! ]

[ she's definitely stunned though,
so take this opportunity to do whatever! ]

[ ordinarily he would want to mcfucking kill her but heeee's not in any state to do anything, especially since he definitely just used up that angel feather to protect him from the blast

so he's scrambling to get up, holding his stump where his arm used to be—he does not bleed, it seems; instead, clear liquid pours out of his wounds, with a heavy scent of lilies—and he's trying to go for the door. any of the doors. he would even take the installation art room right now. ]

[watching dva in shock and dismay--that must have hurt bad, but somehow she's still standing?

and then he sees lucifel try to run, and he's making a dash towards him with his garotte to trip him up, going right for the ankles with 5 speed]

[ ...it takes her an extra couple of seconds to get with it, but as soon as she does she chuffs and sets her sights on lucifel. she's a bit wobbly but she's going to try to pounce on him to keep him from leaving ( speed 2 ). ]

[ she didn't ask for fast food, ok,
so stop! be a good, tasty food and STAY. ]

[ somehow managing to trip over the garrotte wire so spectacularly (1) that dva's pounce misses him (5)?? still, regardless he hits the ground with a gasp—it's a bad fall, hit just right that he's stunned now, unable to move besides to breathe in and out in quick, panicky succession ]

[scrambling and climbing on top of lucifel, using all of his (noodle) strength to pin lucifel to the floor with his garotte (though it's only a 2 speed attack), wheezing]

Feisty, aren't you?

[ ?! ]

[ she hadn't been expecting him to trip and fall so she goes sailing overhead, skidding into a couple of chairs and a table or something. she growls, frustrated, but hurries back over and sets a claw on lucifel's head to ~~stomp~~ smush it into the floor ( might 9 ). she really just wants him to stop squirming around and trying to flee, so she'll apply only a little pressure. a warning, basically. ]

[ her tentacles are not as eager as they might have been ( HAD THEY NOT BEEN BLOWN UP ) but they slither out from behind her to grope at lucifel. ]

[ where to stab,
so many good choices. ]

[ he does not whatsoever have the strength or speed to do literally anything with either of this—he stills under them both, save for the panicked hiccups as he breathes out, in near tears despite the icon ]

—Please—please, don't kill me—take what you must, but leave me my life—Raven-san, Meka-san—

[lets out a wheezing laugh]

That's it. Keep begging. It's so painful, isn't it?

[it seems like lucifel is sufficiently pinned, so raven lets go of one hand on the garotte, and

jams his fingers into the severed stump where lucifel's arm was]

[ ...she doesn't understand 95% of that, but raven's got it covered. he's the brains here! she presses her snout into the side of his head and noses him, gently, nostrils flaring with a snort when she reaches his throat. she opens her mouth to let out her monstrous tongue, which she glides along his adam's apple. ]

[ yes, keep begging, and say one wrong word and she might just accidentally rip out your throat. ]

[ it is painful, and beyond the pain it's wholly unpleasant—he grunts in pain, the sound strangled in his throat as he tries not to scream, and instead he begs again, plaintive, ]

Please—it hurts—please, please don't kill me—
