[Oh.

Ooooooooh.]

. . .Just one of us?

[Well. After a pause, she summons up a serrated sword.]

Twist your arm a bit.

[ she does so. ]

Going to try to hack them off?

That was your plan, wasn't it?

[She angles the sword in and just starts sawing to see if she can separate them at the chain.]

I'm kind of surprised you decided to go along with it.

[ unfortunately though, the cuffs aren't going anywhere. ]

[BOOOOOOooooooo

sawing harder]

Ugh. . . yeah, well, what else am I going to do? Blow them up while we're still attached to them? I don't want to avoid showing memories so badly I'll lose a hand over it.

I never said we had to blow them up. I'm not looking to lose a limb either.

[ stares at the indestructible cuffs. ] I get the feeling it wouldn't work anyway.

[ ... ]

I guess we have to do this dumb memory thing...

Seriously? I just did this!

. . .Maybe they'll cancel out if we do them at the same time?

The memories?

If only. Once we spend the points it's going to be a memory free-for-all.

[ sighs. ]

[She rattles the cuffs dejectedly...]

Sure you don't wanna spend the night at Avante?

I can only spend, what, three nights before you'd have to come to Heart.

[Considers this.

Like, apparently seriously considers this.]

[No, like, seriously considering this.]

I mean––it'd be until, like, the next game at worst. . .

[ look, she had given it some thought too,
because, ew, memories, but... ]

Unless we're forced to leave our arms at the door.

[ she's just imagining them both getting summoned to the game tower and their arms getting torn out and staying in the cuffs, because not even the producers could put a stop to this bs magic. ]

I. . .

Look, the last memory was just––it was dumb. I can deal with that. But a lot of my memories. . . I was part of the Horde. People who think they're heroes or better than everyone else––they don't like the Horde.

I don't do memories publicly because it's no one else's business –– but I don't plan on giving them more excuses to say I'm not worth saving, either.
