The fact that you were able to walk around this cave with the people you were trying to off instead of being locked up in the brig or something kinda feels like you were in a better position than can prolly be expected.

Maybe they were just glad to have someone around who actually wins battles.

I have been! This is the second one that's been like hey, guess what, you hang out with the Sparkle Squad now! But all I got after the first was stuff I already kind of knew and some shapeshifting spy I hired!

...Shapeshifter sounds like they'd be a pretty good spy, though. Like, a natural talent there.
