[ startles, her aibou disappearing then moment she stops giving it commands. ]

[His hair's back to normal, but he still has golden retriever ears]

I am... I already got scolded once, which is why I’m letting my aibou take care of them. [ she looks aside. ] But that hasn’t stopped me from feeling useless.

[He comes closer, to take her hand; he's a couple of degrees cooler than even his usual]

...so we're all kind of screwed then, because even if we don't, like, actively snort the imp dust it's basically in our air now and there's a lot of it.

[ she's spacing out at the moment, but hearing shrike she snaps back to it, her aibou disappearing the moment she stops feeding it commands. ]

Ah, yeah, I could use a set of helping hands. [ cracks a small, tired smile. ]

How have you been doing in this me- [ gets hit with a smoke bomb that changes her hair color back to blond again. ] Rrrg.

[ she's got bird feathers mixed in with her hair and looks warm even for the summer weather, and also has a bit of glitter stuck to her, so: how is she doing, indeed. ]

No real flesh wounds, so—don't worry. Here, let me cover you for a bit.

[ she hasn't considered mental effects! but it's fine! ]

[ she does tilt her head as soon as she notices the feathers. ] When did you get those?

[ she resummons her aibou and tells it to start attacking the nearby imps again, because so she can take a small breather... though she hadn't really been engaging in any of the fights. ]

I got hit with something and then they started springing up... hard not to touch them all the time just knowing they're there.

I think they're kinda cute. Have more been growing or it's just these?

[ she's going to stand on her tip toes and see if she can get a better look, but the answer is no because she's just that short. ]

[ she bends a little, noticing that, looking a little bemused. ]

I think it's just these... probably? It's hard to say since most of the time I can't see my own head...

[ she brushes her fingers through them ( and her hair ) as soon as she’s able. ]

I think they’re cute. Kinda strange that they just sorta, like, sprouted out of your head, but that’s definitely not the weirdest thing to happen here.

I felt something bounce off my head right before it happened, so it's probably just more pranks...
