It feels bad thinking about it . . . I tried challenging him to something, but I don't think I did it right so he got really angry. He asked if I was trying to manipulate him, but I wasn't!

Well, no, this was after that . . . I was just trying to find something nice cuz he's always doing nice things for me. Even after that terrible house, he tried cheering me up. He said he was fine, but . . . you know, he died, too.

Since he does a lot of work, I just wanted to show him a little thanks.

I tried to challenge him like everyone suggested! Like "I can do this better than you can" so then we could maybe play it like a game!

He got the lanterns from Obon so I can make them for the teammates that went away! I thought maybe if I challenged him to the lanterns, he could enjoy coloring them too . . . but maybe I was also just greedy cuz he did say he had work to do.
