A place where everyone can sleep in the same room together! The living room is nice too even with a bunch of blankets, but it would be cozier to have a room for it!

If we give Avante a gift, Intensity said they might spite refuse because of their pride. I don't really understand why they would though. Intensity said I also don't understand why it was so aggravating to have people show up with food either which is true, I do not understand.

He does not think he is the right person to explain it so he said to ask you!

Oh so he passed the buck about talking about human emotions to me, that's per usual.

Hmm... what do you understand pride to be then?

Hmm . . . well, I am very proud to be the Ruler of my Kingdom. And I always try my best to win. I am also very proud of my friends, too.

Even if I do not think of myself at all, I do know I have a lot of pride, too.

Being proud of things is a little different from having pride though. Having pride is like...

... like when you're working on a problem, that you know you can do yourself, but everyone around you is saying 'here let me help you' or 'I could do it faster'. They're just trying to help, and you know you can do it faster, but also you wanna do it yourself.

I have pride, too. But why does that matter with gifts?

Well, say you solved that problem. And then someone gives you a gift saying 'good job solving that problem' or 'you finally did it!' or 'thanks for solving that problem for me'. Are those all okay?

Yes!

Okay! Now, some people, don't want to be thanked. Some people are satisfied with solving the problem and solving that problem was its reward for them. But now people who were completely uninvolved are saying what a good job you were doing, when it seems like they don't really care about what you were doing.

So for those people... the ones giving gifts don't feel genuine. Don't make them feel good.
