[Honestly, this is actually a little nerve-wracking now that she thinks about it.

[Wednesday has set up a table in the lounge area with paper and pens, and also tea and cookies in the hope it'll make things feel slightly less... well, formal, maybe. This hadn't felt like a lecture when Cobalt had gone over it with her and Dawn, and she doesn't want it to feel like one now she's trying to do the same. Maybe if they all sit round the same table, it'll help a bit.

[She hopes she doesn't mess this one up. It's too important for that - important enough that she wonders, for a moment, why she thinks she can handle it at all...

[But she's been here months. It's time to try.]

[She can practically feel how nervous Wednesday is. Part of her wonders if perhaps using Cloud Nine would help in this situation. She had purchased the ability but hadn't yet felt the need to use it.]

[ he takes a seat beside her and smiles in the hopes that it'll help to keep the mood like. he's here playing the part of the teaching assistant, so if she gets stuck he'll step up and chime in, or answer any questions that she may get stuck on. not to mention he'd like to keep all the pep!s informed with revives, since that's an important part of being a pep! and arguably their most valuable ability in tokyo-f. ]

[It makes her feel a little bit better about having taken on all of this... which, all of a sudden, seems massively presumptuous of her. She really hopes she isn't going to let the unit down... or Cobalt, for that matter.

[ as soon as wednesday is finished yugi stands to get the attention of the other pep!s. ] If anyone is interested we can run through a demonstration on the balcony. I think Wednesday did an excellent job explaining things, but sometimes a hands on approach can help really drive the lesson home. [ a smile. ]

But, ah, there is something else I would like to... discuss...

Not too long ago a bunch of us got some corruptions from our trip to the other hells and some of these changes did more than just give us a couple of aesthetic flourishes. [ he spreads a wing and looks to it, but then after a moment it sags, inevitably folding back into place. ] I, myself, got a number of them, and because of the kinds of games that we're regularly forced to play I don't want there to be any surprises, so I want to share them with you.

[ ... ]

[ first, he sets a hand to his heart. ] My blood is now gold, and in high stress situations the scarring over my heart, now in the shape of the Millennium Puzzle, will begin to bleed. I do get a bit lightheaded when this happens, but that's about it.

[ second, well... he's not sure where to put his hand. ] But the, ah, worst thing is that when I get injured, my body... it starts to fall apart into puzzle pieces. I know it sounds ridiculous, but Cobalt and Wednesday know about this from having to help me literally piece myself back together. It... it's not something I really want any of you to have to see, but, like I said, some of these games... [ he shakes his head. ] It might be inevitable, so I just want you to know what you may eventually be in store for.

Thank you for those warnings. You have learned a fair amount about it. However . . . What would you have us do in the event of a game? You were able to bring yourself back here before in order to tend to your wounds. Do you think the same could be managed again?

Ah, and Vegas and Eve, this condition is not much affected by the abilities of those of sensitIV. We have tried our best in the past.

Since we are on the topic of medicine and unusual conditions, I have learned more regarding my own . . . [deep breath, half-lifting her black arm up] This is not a corruption nor any effect from here. Rather, it is a disease from my own world. It is called starscourge. Without treatment, those infected with it eventually transform into daemons, violent beings without a will of their own nor control over themselves.

Cobalt is more familiar with it than I am, and we have discussed a way of treating it. However, until we are able to do more with that, I remain in this state.

Glacies... [ he looks at her arm and then back to her, listening as she tells wednesday that it does, in fact, hurt. ] I'm glad that sensitIV is able to help, but do you know what specifically they do? Numb it? Because maybe we can look up some similar medicines or equipment to help in case we can't get a hold of one of them.

We all have plenty of points to spare and I certainly wouldn't mind getting something to help.

Ah, we got a letter from Set-chan, by the way!

She says she's in a happy uh.. love-polygon of some kind these days 'n stuffs going pretty well at home. Dealing with properties 'n stuff left over from her past life but apparently her girlfriend's helping so nobody's gotta worry. She said ta share hellos with Yugi-kun 'n Wednesday-chan--'n Cobalt-san, obviously. She misses everybody!
