[IT'S GAME TIME but as you make your way to the gametower, you might notice it seems to be dusk despite being morning? That's the power of really good lighting effects!!

But even more distracting, once you step out of the elevators and into the main area, you may or may not find yourself transformed! Are you a vampire? A Were? A mercreature? Or maybe you're human, who knows!

The tower itself is decked out in halloween decorations! There is also a rack of costumes fitting for the occasion; you can find just about anything that will fit your monster type, all with minor tweaks for unit aesthetic. You'll also find anything you might need for any of the bingo tasks in boxes (water guns, makeover kits, etc)]

[on a tv screen, the host appears! He's...a sheep? Man? He's also sporting fake fangs and a cute wolf ears headband to fit the theme. He leans into the camera cheerfully]

Baa! I mean, boo! Huhuhu, no need to fear, it's just a luscious little lamb. We've got a very special show to put on today, and I'm sure our merry monsters will have a mash! Trust this humble sheep loyal viewers, this show won't lead you astray!

[meanwhile, here is Heliotrope, currently half-flopped into a pool of water. fin-like ears, a scattering of green scales across his skin, and he has a green fish tail (very fancy, like a koi), which he is...currently trying to figure out how to swim with.

he still has one porcelain arm, though. the scales on that arm are green lacquer.]

How d'actual mermaids do this...

[hm. which one are you...] I guess you're right 'bout that, but somethin' spookier would prolly have suited me better. Like a vampire or a mummy or somethin'.

[He's a teenage boy who resembles Cleyera somewhat, though his clothes are an outfit Heliotrope wouldn't have seen before.]

But if ya do, I wonder if ya would sink or sink. Vampires can't cross water an' all.

Have ya had a hard time gettin' around like that?

Fortunately, my legs reappear occasionally, so I can walk around again. If I'm in the water they stay like a fin though until I've dried off. And I've had a couple of occasions where I've been walking around and suddenly my legs disappeared, which... was awkward.

That sounds like it's kinda a pain, yeah. I dunno if I would get my legs back or not outta the water, so I haven't tried yet. Glad ya can get yours back, though.

[startles a bit, because he didn't see Hurricane coming, and whips his head around. this close, Hurricane can see that only one eye - his left, blue eye - is tracking his movements, while his right amber one isn't. makes a stupid noise of surprise.] Prolly, yeah, I guess. No wonder they're so good at it.

It might be kinda cool to be a mermaid, but then again there's so much stuff I wouldn't be able to do like this.
