[ The game starts with you in elevators, the doors jammed shut. You can keep an eye on the city further and further below you, but there's no introduction to today's game.

It's just as well. Those of you who recognize it need no introduction to it. Those of you who don't couldn't be prepared by any host's opening spiel, anyway.

The elevator stops atop the central tower of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government building and then lurches unpleasantly, wrenching itself out of where elevators ought to go. The sudden movement jolts you, and when the doors open you spill out into a room.

Hopefully, with not too much time missing. ]

It emerges from the shadow on the wall next to you.

You must attempt a Speed roll:
5+ You get away. Gain 1 Speed.
2-4: Take 1 die of mental damage
0-1: Take 1 die of mental damage and 1 die of physical damage.

[He ducks neatly out of the way, light on his feet, with a speed of 10.]

[Then his expression shifts; he glances toward Abi, hefts his axe, and comes in swinging. He might be caught off balance, though, because that might is a grand total of 2.]

[blocks the axe with his knife, which would normally be a really reckless move, but he rolled a mighty 9 and successfully holds him at bay.

with a snarl, he leaps back and then lunges forward for a speed attack of only 3, bleh]

[He dodges that one, too, with a 7; it's being light on his feet that kept him alive long before he ever came to Tokyo-F, and it serves him well now.]

[Then he counters with another swing of the axe, charging in with a 5.]
