BETRAYAL AT THE HOUSE ON THE GAME TOWER - Session 9

[ The GAME ALERT and map show on the screen of your phones— idols, you know what to do!

The Game Tower elevator doors are open to receive, and close once they have you in their confines and the broadcast monitors click on. You can keep an eye on the city further and further below you, as watch with your host's introduction to today's game.

At the very least it's not Mukuro's face on the screen this time. Instead it's Exael again, pigtails bouncing as she hops up from a grand low bow— it looks like they cut part of her broadcast spiel for you guys. With a showman's flair, she twirls and splays her arms as the camera zooms out to focus on a grand mansion, more Hollywood glamor than anything belonging in Tokyo.

"Summer has come to Tokyo, and so has the season's specialty: The Trial of Courage! Step right up, and charge right in because waiting won't help you at all! Here is a place even angels fear to tread! Azzy's very own, The House of Mirth and Betrayal! This place has a sordid past that casts a shadow as long as the valley of death, and soon our Idols will be adding their own pages to the tale!"

The elevator stops atop the central tower of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government building and then lurches unpleasantly, wrenching itself out of where elevators ought to go. The sudden movement jolts you, and when the doors open you spill out into into a room.

Hopefully, with not too much time missing. ]

[ his lip trembles and he hiccups, his one working hand moving up to scrub at his tears and his face ]

S-she - she left me -

[ his voice cracks in several points, stuttered and interrupted by his need to breathe ]

I-I couldn't even make her stay - she won't l-l-love me - b-but she w-w-won't even h, h, haaate me . . . . ! Everyone. . . everyone just keeps l-looking at Hiryuu-sa, n, but not m-mm, m, me. . .

Oh, so you're jealous?

[ he seems to debate this - - before dropping his hand to grab for Lucifel's, trying to pull it up to Whisky's ears too. give pets. ]

It's fine now, I'm here. And you're the only one that has my attention right now.

[sancrimony]

Jealous . . .

[ quietly, and he's letting his hand be moved. i guess you can have pets. ok here ]

I-is this j, jealousy . . . ? . . . . ahh, it's so ugly . . . .

[ with another hiccup ]

B, but . . . Whisky-san . . . will leave me, too . . . Whisky-sa, san. . . neither loves nor h-hates . . . me . . . a, and, d - if you don't either way. . . how ca, can -

[ swallowing, now ]

How can I m, make you stay. . . ?

I'll stay. We can be together forever, can't we? I don't particularly love or hate you but I don't want you to leave me either.

[ yesss pets, tips his head into those, perfectly calm as he speaks. though he's resting the tip of his knife just above his collar bone. ]

You won't - - leave me, that is. Right? You won't abandon me?

[sancrimony]

[ very gently petting him, this may be because he's losing blood ]

Why. . . ? Why would you stay. . . with a wretched person like me. . . . ?

[ leans down, closer. ]

Maybe it's because I'm a wretched person too. So a wretched person like me wants you all to myself.

[sancrimony]

[ somehow, that satisfies him. that's reason enough, he thinks - it isn't because of love, or hate. it's kinship. loneliness to loneliness.

disregarding the way the knife presses against him, he tries to lift himself up, as if to get closer to whisky ]

Ahh . . .

[ with a soft, satisfied sigh ]

Then . . . that's fine. Don't . . . let me go. Let me . . . have something of you, too.

Of course.

[ it's fine, attention is attention and if it means he can keep having Lucifel all too himself he'll let Lucifel take too. he muzzles into his hand and leans down more for him, the tip of his knife starting to press in. ]

[sancrimony]

[ kissing against his lips then, with another little sigh ]

[ he's kissed like three SensitiVs now so he's used to this. even kissing back, practically oozing against him, warm and needy. ]

[sancrimony]

[ this feels really good. actually.

working his fingers through his hair fully, unrelenting in his pets. like his very last bit of strength is going to petting

murmuring against his lips ]

I'll find you again . . . I promise . . . so . . . look for me too, Whisky-san . . . .

Mm. You'll always be with me, remember? I'll take something from you - - to stay with me forever.

[ he's starting to press that knife tip in, just above his heart. at the same time - - he's still nuzzling into his hand, affectionate, absolutely ready for the attention. ]

[sancrimony]

Right.

[ with a soft laugh. he's already dizzy from pain, what's one more stab. ]

You should take everything of me, though. . . no one else will want it, so it's all yours. . .

I can't eat all of you...

[ he sounds genuinely kind of bummed like this. he's still so hungry and he does want all of him.

he's angling the knife in further before starting to angle it up some, like he's cutting away flesh and skin around his ribs. ]

[sancrimony]

You can eat more if -- you find me . . .

[ almost - coy, pleasant. he winces, now ]

I'll find you, then.

[ he's determinedly making way for that, peeling at skin with his other hand, getting access to bare ribs. ]

[sancrimony]

[ gently, continuing to pet him ]

Good . . . good. Good. . .

[ and he winces again, tears to his eyes - physical, nothing more than that ]

Ahh . . . I'm . . . happy . . . thank you . . .

[ he tilts his head some, as he starts trying to pry his fingers under his ribs, get some access to his heart. ]

Well, of course you should be.

[sancrimony]

[ stutters a little in petting him because that hurts actually. but he keeps it up, as best as he can ]

Of course . . . Of course.

[ mumbled, dizzy ]

[ but how much does it hurt to have him like

rooting through there, trying to get his hand around his heart ]

[sancrimony]

[ turns out it hurts a lot. not super good at petting but he ends up holding onto the back of his head, whimpering quietly ]

[ keep petting him. he nuzzles into his hand, aggressively seeking that, even as his fingers curl and tug at the organ ]

[ twitching and convulsing a little is petting right ]

there's no cutting going on to make this easy other than what he's already cut out of his chest so he is outright just, yanking, to rip it out, with all the artery and tissue tearing that includes. ]

Convulsing as his heart is yanked, gasping - interestingly muscle doesn't tear very easily so this will be fun to wrestle through ]
