When she finally staggers from her room, there's a blanket wrapped around her shoulders, held tight with her flesh hand. Her eyes are bloodshot and her jaw is pulled tight]

[ someone passed out on the couch with like three cups of tea and a glass of sake and starting at the noise, snaps awake, kicks off the throw blanket, and is halfway to a fighting stance when the actual situation catches up with her— ]

Nemesis?

[It's an obvious startle as her head whips over to Shrike, knuckles going paler on the blanket. But then...well. What's she supposed to even say?]

[For a moment it looks like she wants to protest, but instead she bows her head, huddles a bit. When she speaks, it's a little hoarse]
