In any case, however you've ended up here there's still plenty to do. Shopping, restaurants, movie theaters, maybe you can even find a tour bus to make the rounds of some of the other shows being filmed here! ]

Someone told me about a shopping area nearby that has a bunch of restaurants and food stalls with the plastic food out front. Maybe we can wander around and see what speaks to us. What do you think?

[He tidies up the table and pushes in all the chairs, then thanks the cafe staff before turning back to Thorn, beckoning him to follow.]

[Holds the door for him, then takes a left and starts walking up the street.]

I don't know how much you overheard from some of the people here, but it sounds like this place, Tokyo-Delphi, is even more multi-cultural than what we're used to. So maybe the food selection is just as varied. We could try cuisine from entirely different worlds from ours. How cool is that!

I suppose it's not SUPER different from Tokyo-F, since we're from different cultures too, but not everyone cooks or brings food to share. And even if you can get it from the point store it's not the same as being able to see and smell it in real life before you purchase it, so--

[It only takes a couple of minutes to get there. It's a narrow street, accessible to foot traffic only, absolutely crammed with food vendors. They range from cheap restaurants with plastic food displayed at the front door, to over-the-counter shops selling fast food out an open window. Interspersed are vending machines and gatchapons crammed into alleys and against free walls. Even still there are carts in the road itself selling things like crepes and grilled things on sticks.

The smell alone nearly short-circuits Cobalt entirely.]

[Yeah, slowing to a stop in the entryway. He's just as poleaxed, honestly, but he's making an effort to hide it.]

I guess they don't do things by halves.
