It is my understanding that there are a few who are new to this place, like myself. With that in mind, I hope that we may introduce ourselves to each other with a poll of sorts— What is your name? And to aid further discussion . . .

To those who are new here, what is something you would like to learn? Ask whatever question comes to mind. None are too trivial.

To those who are well-established, what is something you have learned here? A skill, a discovery about yourself. Any wisdom that you deem worthy.

It seems that he is well educated in a matter that concerns me. I have been told there is no cause for alarm, but I wish to be certain.

Yes. It is. Perhaps, since it is the only thing giving some hint as to my background, I am too focused upon it, but I wish to know more about this affliction.

Well -- that's only natural! I'd have questions if I awoke in such a state as well.

At the risk of giving food to fears, what questions would you have? I have only had a few short hours, and I do not know if I have missed some other cause for concern.

Regarding your condition...? Well - - I'd wonder if you were corrupted.

Corrupted? In what way do you mean?

May I ask if you have all your memories intact...?

No, I have none. But you are not the first to think this illness comes from here.

There's a few cases of this, yes -- people with permanent physical afflictions, or more ... cosmetic changes that indicate they've visited "Hell".

But since I do not have my memories, this cannot be the case.

As far as I'm aware, yes, but I don't know of any hard rules.

Whatever the cause, I will speak with Rye. I trust he will know something about this.
