[ At some point during the day, Talon has visited each unit to deliver the preliminary assignments for the protection plan. Maybe he knocked on a unit's door, maybe he slipped a note into someone's pocket, maybe he used morse code! However it was delivered, units have their preliminary assignments and may use this post to discuss them amongst themselves. ]

• For convenience sake, please assume all units know who they are assigned to protect, and who has been assigned to protect them


• Units do not have access to the complete list yet. Talon would have explained that this is because it may still be adjusted if there are any objections at this stage, if asked.

In our new unitmate's defense, he has no knowledge of what took place just days prior to his arrival. One cannot ask about what they would not think to ask if they do not know to ask.

And an important point to bring up, something I noticed immediately: Medusa's expectations are clearly based off a trip he and I made to ZRAEL yesterday. It was Man Eater's request that I paid them a visit—in the end, I brought food and Medusa. Naturally, at the mention of AlcheME!, he must have considered the same thing. Without context, he would not have grasped that his suggestion was questionable at all.

He had the context of my initial argument. Regardless of what happened before his arrival, the general terms of the agreement between everyone should have been clear. In that context, suggesting that we needed to provide AlcheME incentive is both disingenuous and pitiful.

You expect too much out of people, the detective. Our new unitmate is clueless, so you could have granted him a pass.

I agree that his comment was foolish, and I agree that it is ridiculous he backed down so quickly. However, you could use to have some patience with someone like that.
