[ At some point during the day, Talon has visited each unit to deliver the preliminary assignments for the protection plan. Maybe he knocked on a unit's door, maybe he slipped a note into someone's pocket, maybe he used morse code! However it was delivered, units have their preliminary assignments and may use this post to discuss them amongst themselves. ]

• For convenience sake, please assume all units know who they are assigned to protect, and who has been assigned to protect them


• Units do not have access to the complete list yet. Talon would have explained that this is because it may still be adjusted if there are any objections at this stage, if asked.

Ah, my intention had been to speak with you and avante about the alliance matter I mentioned, and update you on where LiliS stands with things.

Alliances were the topic, so your timing is perfect. Has Lilis come to some sort of decision?

Not a complete one--we'll need your input for that.

Of the units we discussed together, there was an equal interest in avante and BAD END. At first, we were concerned that more than one alliance would be making a vow we couldn't keep, but if Talon's protection plan succeeds, then that concern is eliminated.

We've already heard back from BAD END, and know they're indeed open to a partnership; we plan to meet soon and discuss terms.

The rest stands with your unit--including whether LiliS having more than one alliance is acceptable.

What sort of terms were you thinking? We haven't gotten around to hammering out what we want.

Neither have we, to be honest.

But... [ slightly dry ] frankly, our first priority is to gain the security of a unit we can rely upon not to target us, and to protect us when the game calls for it.
The fact that BAD END has been in a similar position to us is why we reached out to them.

With avante, though... [ a faint smile ]
There are still those on LiliS who, more than anything, want to protect as many people as possible. I know that's a principle you share.

We're still very early in our decision-making. Prioritizing one unit in every game would really be ideal, but I don't know how popular that idea will be.

Prioritizing the same unit consistently, you mean?

It's certainly the most reliable promise to make, though, if I may speak from my own biases a moment, I hope having a connection with BAD END would not be enough to prevent our units from working together.
