King is a good friend. He's in a unit called Heart Soldier Senshi, and he and I arrived here on the same day, about a month before you did.

You guys are from the same place. My understanding is that he was a ghost or a spirit of some kind who was trapped in a necklace, and when you put the necklace on, you were able to see and interact with him. You two developed a close bond and became extremely dear to each other.

When you showed up here, he was so excited to see you. You guys have been pretty much inseparable ever since. It's clear that you care for each other a great deal.

Anubis and Nine-Nine had a similar relationship, where Nine-Nine was the one trapped in a necklace. And as you can see, they look the same, too.

You guys were friends back home, so they might be able to help you with questions like that. Uh... Assuming they remember. I'm pretty sure I saw Nine-Nine at the game but I haven't had a chance to touch base with him yet.
