[going straight up to sensitIV and into his room, closing the door behind them. he takes a seat at the low table on one of the cushions. when he speaks, his voice is quiet.]

After he and Primrose got the gate open, he jumped into the Abyss. I sent Blue Eyes after him but she couldn’t reach the bottom. Or find him.

He didn’t come back with everyone else.

[lack of sugar-coating is actually exactly why he wanted to hear it from Intensity. for the moment, he just looks kind of... blank.]

[laces his fingers together tightly, staring down at his hands.]

B and C are planning to talk to Exael soon. If he doesn’t show up within 24 hours, we’ll see what that lead can get us.

[nods.]

I... we know what the most likely— where he probably is, though.

[and doesn’t that just come with it’s own set of worries. chews on his lower lip.]

If so, good for him. He wanted to meet her eventually. Or at least her army of half-dead idols.

It's the fact that he wanted to meet her that worries me!

I'm sure you felt something similar when you summoned the Shopkeeper. And Nine-Nine can handle himself. Just like you did.
