Hey. Boss. You going to let this place tear you down like this? We might have made the choices, we might deserve what people think of us, but that doesn't make any of this situation right.

That's why I said those names would fit better. If we really deserve what people think of us, then that only makes sense.

We made a bad call, a bad play--but that game was set up for exactly that kind of mistake. And we're having to bear the burden of being the ones to make that bad call, but isn't that just putting some of the blame in the wrong place?

... how many times am I going to be put in a prisoner's cell and made to do what I'm told by people who have more power who never get shit for the mess they cause?

[Keeps his fingers on Boss's bangs, steeling himself, listening, taking it in.]

What we deserve and who we try to be are different, at least I think so. We can't undo this, you can't make this better by deciding that name you hate suits you after all.
