Like... they're also pieces of people. But I guess the whole "they will ruin a person they catch hold of" thing fits in the uh... metaphorically literal sense of pretending shadows aren't a thing gets a person distorted...

So I was wondering if maybe that's connected.

It's more like... maybe a frame of mind? It's definitely related to something like that, though. Since that's where I'd go to maintain Personas.

I'd assume that's probably what the "other role" he mentioned to me was, then. Since it seems we're so similar in regards to Personas and stuff.

It doesn't seem like, from either time I was in there, that it ever makes stops. Maybe... because my past involved never staying in the same place for too long? I'm constantly moving? Never settling? Aimless? Something like that.

I don't feel like I really understand that me very well yet...

He seems... much more sad and lonely than I am. Kind of... resigned about life. Accepting things as they come, since he might as well, and it's what's expected of him.

...I guess he didn't have as many good friends as I do. Not yet, at least.

[it's definitely a craft that Joker clearly finds soothing, calming. going through the motions of getting everything set up and working at it. mostly muscle memory at this point.]
