HSS Celebrates The Lunar New Year (a little late)

When: FORWARD DATED to Day 91, afternoon into evening
[ Heart Soldier Senshi's dorm has been completely redecorated today. Stepping off the elevator and onto the eleventh floor, you'll immediately find yourself greeted by rows of red-and-gold paper lanterns dangling from the ceiling and strings of colorful holiday lights set at the edges of the hallway. They light the way to the open doors, and inside yet more lanterns and twinkling lights festoon the the ceilings. Here, too, the walls have been lined with paper depictions of cranes, dragons, magpies, and the sun, a world of scarlet and gold. Underneath all this, the main table has been set with a crimson tablecloth and on top of that, plate after plate of traditional foods have been set out for guests to take from buffet style.
The bedrooms, too, are open-doored and emptied** of their usual furniture. Instead, they've been filled with chairs and tables obviously procured from the lobby downstairs and identically decorated for the occasion. Guests will find they can easily intermingle between the rooms to visit with their hosts and the other guests as well as eat. At each place-setting, guests will find confetti poppers, mini sparklers, and colorful squares of paper and tacks for guests to write a wish to hang on the long string that spans the back wall.
And for those people finished eating and looking for something fun to do, the arcade room is open and available with a whole host of games for competitive play. ]

He's looking for someone who might be willing to teach him self-defense. I was wondering if you knew anyone with weapons training who might be into that sort of thing.

I get the impression that he feels kinda... vulnerable here, since he's new and this place is dangerous. As someone on sensitIV, he has access to that power that lets them unwind people's scars, and I'm hoping that giving him a tool that makes him feel better while ultimately being less dangerous might keep that power from being his first resort.
Basically, I don't want him to panic and explode somebody. Maybe some discipline will help.

It was when I was a lot younger. I was a member of the King's special military, which sounds really sexy, except my job at the time was basically to guard doorways all day while diplomats talked about tariffs. And even though I know I was armed to the teeth, I can't remember what weapons I had on me at the time because they were all in my Armiger.
Ah... an Armiger is like... a pocket reality that you can use to store things, using magic. If I ever needed a weapon, I could summon it from my Armiger and it would just appear in my hand.
But I didn't need them in that memory, so. [shrug]
