HSS Celebrates The Lunar New Year (a little late)
Who: HSS and Invited guests
Where: HSS Dorms
When: FORWARD DATED to Day 91, afternoon into evening
[ Heart Soldier Senshi's dorm has been completely redecorated today. Stepping off the elevator and onto the eleventh floor, you'll immediately find yourself greeted by rows of red-and-gold paper lanterns dangling from the ceiling and strings of colorful holiday lights set at the edges of the hallway. They light the way to the open doors, and inside yet more lanterns and twinkling lights festoon the the ceilings. Here, too, the walls have been lined with paper depictions of cranes, dragons, magpies, and the sun, a world of scarlet and gold. Underneath all this, the main table has been set with a crimson tablecloth and on top of that, plate after plate of traditional foods have been set out for guests to take from buffet style.
The bedrooms, too, are open-doored and emptied** of their usual furniture. Instead, they've been filled with chairs and tables obviously procured from the lobby downstairs and identically decorated for the occasion. Guests will find they can easily intermingle between the rooms to visit with their hosts and the other guests as well as eat. At each place-setting, guests will find confetti poppers, mini sparklers, and colorful squares of paper and tacks for guests to write a wish to hang on the long string that spans the back wall.
And for those people finished eating and looking for something fun to do, the arcade room is open and available with a whole host of games for competitive play. ]
[** All of the unnecessary furniture has been tinified thanks to AlcheME and stuffed into the closets should anyone care to go looking for it. ]
[ *** Although we've done our best to ping everyone who's invited, some of you play multiples and there's always the chance we could have missed someone. If you're uncertain if your character would have been invited or not, you can refer to this list. You can also DM any HSS member if you have questions on Discord or Plurk. ]

[It, uh... probably won't be that hard, that's a lot of green?]
It's nice to meet you, too! Did it take you guys a long time to get everything ready? I love all these lanterns.

[She's running out of sparkler. Quick, draw all the spirals you can--]
I haven't been here very long, but I've heard people talking... has it been, well, busier than usual? Not that I want to talk about - work.
no subject
But you're right, we shouldn't worry about any of that now, tonight is for having fun with everyone!
no subject
[She giggles.
[Maybe there's another sparkler around? These things are fun.]
What do you like doing for fun? I think I must love things like this, but I guess they can be a little overwhelming.
no subject
Me? Um, I like training, and baking, and playing games with my friends. Recently I've started learning how to play soccer. Parties like this are fun, but you're right about that... I just want everyone to have a good time.

...Or alternatively, we do have a DDR machine.
no subject
Oh, why didn't I think of that? I was beginning to think I'd have to break into one of those plastic buildings, and try to dance in there. I think the gym sounds better!
DDR definitely sounds better.
no subject
Then, do you want to go play?
no subject
[On the one hand, party.
[On the other hand, DDR. What else is a party for?
[Besides, by the looks of things it's expected - she thinks she saw Cobalt bent over an arcade cabinet already.]
You want to? All right, then!
no subject
[To the arcade!]

[Following right behind you, Mori~]
It's a shame this would probably be off-aesthetic for us.

[Rifling through song selections hmmm what’s a good one...]
Ah, what level of difficulty do you want?
no subject
[Okay, looking over your shoulder at the song choice, hmm~
[Seems to be a lot of idol songs on offer, doesn't it?]
I think we should go with normal to begin with. Then we can adjust up or down as we need.
