HSS Celebrates The Lunar New Year (a little late)

[ Heart Soldier Senshi's dorm has been completely redecorated today. Stepping off the elevator and onto the eleventh floor, you'll immediately find yourself greeted by rows of red-and-gold paper lanterns dangling from the ceiling and strings of colorful holiday lights set at the edges of the hallway. They light the way to the open doors, and inside yet more lanterns and twinkling lights festoon the the ceilings. Here, too, the walls have been lined with paper depictions of cranes, dragons, magpies, and the sun, a world of scarlet and gold. Underneath all this, the main table has been set with a crimson tablecloth and on top of that, plate after plate of traditional foods have been set out for guests to take from buffet style.

The bedrooms, too, are open-doored and emptied** of their usual furniture. Instead, they've been filled with chairs and tables obviously procured from the lobby downstairs and identically decorated for the occasion. Guests will find they can easily intermingle between the rooms to visit with their hosts and the other guests as well as eat. At each place-setting, guests will find confetti poppers, mini sparklers, and colorful squares of paper and tacks for guests to write a wish to hang on the long string that spans the back wall.

And for those people finished eating and looking for something fun to do, the arcade room is open and available with a whole host of games for competitive play. ]

How...does a person play a rhythm game?

See the arrows on the screen? When each arrow reaches the top, you step on the corresponding arrow on the platform. The timing of the steps corresponds to music, so it's kinda like dancing.

[As per his unit aesthetic, he has a large eyepatch on. So he glances up at the arrows and squints.]

Sure! There's even a tutorial, if you want to try it out yourself!

[He'll start the tutorial for both dance pads. He'll dance on one if Levi wants to watch, but the other pad is available if Levi wants to join in.]

[He does watch for a minute, trying to get a feel for it. The music is so strange and fast...

After a moment he does move over to the other dance pad. He's a lot slower and squinting at the screen with his one eye but he's at least trying to get a feel for it during the practice trial!]
