Uh... Hmmmmmmm..... What have I remembered...

I remembered my house, and my parents... I remember the gallery my mom owned, which was nice. Then I remembered working a really boring summer job, which was less nice.

I think, of all the things I remember, the only thing I really miss is my parents. And I don't really want to see them here 'cause watching my folks die in games would be rough.

I guess having my house be here would be nice, though.

I remember seeing you working you job. Definitely not fun. [ he crinkles his job. ] But I’m not sure jobs are supposed to be fun. [ aw, cobalt. ] N- No, yeah, totally understandable. I wouldn’t want my grandpa here either. But, hm, I wonder if you could re-purpose one of the abandoned buildings. It might not be the same, but… [ scratches his cheek. ] it’d be something!

I think I'm alright! Re-purposing an abandoned building would be a house, but not my house, you know?

Anyway, I'm happy enough living in the dorm with you guys. I don't really feel the need to leave.

[ok he's finally done laying out all his traps and monsters. come at me]

Yeah... and it's probably best that nothing of ours is down here.

[ yugi gives him a smile. ] I'm glad. I still really don't think I could have gotten placed on a better unit. You guys are the best.

[ yugi hesitates a moment, because what could you be planning cobalt!!! he's going to have to play to sa- fuck it. fusion summons a powerful monster and calls an attack! you're going down, friend! ]

Aww, I'm glad you feel that way! I'm really happy you're -- [ah fuck, well, there goes his monster and some of his life points.]

Hm.

[ smiles all innocent like. ]

Oops~ [ except not oops. yugi just chuckles. ] That's it for my turn. Come at me, Cobalt!

[stares at his hand and the cards on the table for a minute, then puts some cards face-down and plays a spell card. The spell is something vaguely annoying and not very powerful; that's all he's got right now.]

I keep meaning to ask you: do you prefer being called Corona or Yugi?

[ whelp. it looks like his monster is unable to attack this turn, so yugi will play another monster in defense mode. can't let cobalt get at his lifepoints, nope! ]

Yugi, though I don't really mind if you'd rather call me Corana. I like that name too, and it's special for other reasons. [ it ties him to pep and he still appreciates everybody helping him pick it out. ]

Yugi, then! Is that the name you'd prefer to use with everyone, or just friends?

[he sacrifices a monster to summon something better, and goes on the offense]

I don't mind who uses it and besides, if it were reserved for just friends, then you'd definitely be welcome.

[ gives cobalt a smile, that fades the moment he summons a high level monster. whelp. his monster is all but gone... along with some of his life points. ]

Yeah, me too, and though I'm sure the holograms make it super cool I kind of don't really mind playing it like this.

Sometimes keeping it simple sometimes is relaxing, though.

I mean, maybe "simple" is relative in this case, but you know.

[ laughs. ]

[ magic jammer can prevent the use of monster reborn and, therefore, the strong monster summoning! there's also negate attack, which is true to its namesake! ]
