[But she's back again eventually, showered and changed (and with her hair brushed, and is that a touch of lipgloss?) and feeling - well, it isn't hard to feel a lot more human when you're not standing there covered in blood. She even finds she's feeling a bit less tired. Maybe the warm water helped wake her up.]

Lilith is a demon. As you know, if people die in the games, they get revived afterward. But anyone who suicides gets taken to Lilith instead.

We don't know very much about her so far... What we do know is that she will give you a choice to either stay in whatever corner of Hell she lives in to be tortured for eternity, or come back here after paying a price. It seems like the price is different for everyone, but it usually involves some kind of permanent, unhealable modification to your body.

I think someone asked about Exael afterwards? I didn't catch much, but it looked like a couple of people went to speak to her. I'm not sure how much help she was... a lot of it sounded preprogrammed. I'm afraid I wasn't really paying attention.

[Wednesday can't imagine eternity at all, never mind an eternity of pain. She can't imagine being threatened by a demon. She can't even imagine what it is to be hurt intentionally, not properly, not yet. She focuses on the only part of it that makes sense: the price.]

I remembered my house, and my parents... I remember the gallery my mom owned, which was nice. Then I remembered working a really boring summer job, which was less nice.

I think, of all the things I remember, the only thing I really miss is my parents. And I don't really want to see them here 'cause watching my folks die in games would be rough.

I guess having my house be here would be nice, though.
