Fox is currently painting in one corner of the canvas, wearing this paint-splattered outfit (and kanzashi in his hair). It looks like you're invited to paint something on there yourself, if you like?

[she puts her phone in her pocket and continues on her way]

[She keeps her workout outfit in a locker at the gym now, so she's changed into that by the time he arrives.]

[she leads him to a large open room with wrestling mats laid out on the floor]

stretching out his arms a bit as he follows]

[How do assassins fight that isn't immediately lethal? There are learning experiences for everyone here.

She takes a position on one side of the mat.]

[GOING STRAIGHT FOR A STRAIGHT-ON PUNCH LIKE THE SHOUNEN IDIOT HE CAN BE]

[She is very fast, and she ducks entirely under the punch, one hand on the ground as she aims a kick up towards his gut.]

okay.

yeah. big learning curve.

also not quick enough yet to avoid that, so that's a whuff of air leaving his lungs as he's nailed in the gut. f-falling back.]

[She pulls her leg back from the kick to immediately attempt to sweep his legs out from under him, now that he's off balance.]

[AND DOWN HE GOES, hitting the mats hard.]

[And she quickly rolls up on to a knee, leaning over him to press a forearm gently against his neck.]

You're dead.

[w-wheeeeeeeez he really shouldn't think someone looks so attractive when they're making a point about him being dead if this was for real AND YET...]

--said I wouldn't be a match, right?

[She straightens and offers him a hand up.]

The plan is I keep trying until I do better.

We could also train together, and not just fight.

... this is going to sound dumb.

But I thought this was kinda like training.

It's an important part of training. But even if you're training to be an assassin, just getting beaten up over and over isn't really the best way to do it. You should do strength and agility training, and learn new techniques, and that kind of thing. That stuff can be pretty fun, too.

... then. Yeah. I wanna train. With you.

Sooo... where do we start?

That depends on what you want to work on. We could do weights, or sprints... or, since we're here already, I could teach you some takedowns.
