Well, I knew about that, but I don't really know anything about the mythology or whatever. Does it really matter...? Aside from just having names to call things, I guess. Or differentiating demons from whatever.

The lore matches to the roles they are playing. Such as we've never met Mammon, but I think we already have a good idea of what their power set would be should we encounter them.
