[Maki ultimately spent the night at Future is Now, but in the morning she finally takes everyone's advice and returns to Taisho. She is fully grayscale at this point, and also looks... a bit darker, maybe? Like she's standing in a shadow, or someone moved the brightness slider down slightly.

She changes back into a Taisho outfit before coming back to the common area.]

So... does anyone have thoughts on doing better at unit unity.

I must question why that is your concern while you appear to be monochrome!? How on earth did that happen— I did seen some of the chat yesterday, yes, but that seems to be a far more pressing topic than our usual disagreements!

It happened because of our usual disagreements, apparently. Or that's the running theory... that and related things, like me spending time away or wearing Bad End clothes.

If it was disagreements, would we not all be in your situation? I certainly have not suddenly come around to your way of thinking in your absence. I would guess it must be one of the latter two.

Well, I'm here and in Taisho clothes now, and that hasn't magically fixed anything. So I'm going to assume there's something deeper around acting like part of a unit that's going on too, rather than just sit back and do nothing.

Then what are you proposing? Our issues in games are rarely the same problem twice, as we are faced with myriad horrors.

A show of unity? Some sort of pledge of unity? At least, stating our intentions to work together, in some way that we can define... I don't know.

And I don't remember all of the details of our problems, either, so I'm not as much help at the moment as I could be.

I cannot agree unilaterally— our fights in the past have been over substantive differences in our proposed courses of action. I will not simply surrender myself to the group, without us having at least discussed the matter.

That's my opinion on it too, which is why I'm looking for ideas.

We could draw up conditions in which we will debate our course of action, and all sign the agreement. Terms on the order of we will not force another on this unit to submit to our wills without hearing them out if their mind is set to the contrary.

I didn't really expect you to run around quite so much as you did, I'll admit. I'll remember to keep you under closer watch should it happen again, if you like.

If it becomes necessary, truss me up and lock me in, rather than allow that to repeat itself.

It seems a pointless endeavor. Our differences with each other are substantial, when we have arguments they are not over insignificant matters.

Only for in dire circumstances. To walk about with that would be as mortifying as what just occurred to me.

I don't know, a suitably tasteful collar could really compliment your lovely neck. Then all you would need is to wear it all the time, and a leash could easily be attached in times of crisis.
