Now that you mention it, I don't really remember anything at all.

Did you get a chance to look at your phone?

[ he takes it out again to check ]
It's not terribly insightful.

[Drops this 17-page pamphlet on the main table]
For a more thorough explanation, but I take it you want the summarized version first?

[ he picks it up with a sheepish little smile ]
Preferably, though I appreciated the preparedness.

As an idol, you are expected to earn points through one of three methods: 1) Lives - which are interactive events based upon what unit you're in. For us, it's experimentation and academic debate. Second are videos, which also require you to adhere to unit traits - you can check your phone for them. And the third are games - which is when our hosts randomly summon us to the Game Tower for various purposes like blind dates or turning us into monsters that then eat each other.
With points, you can buy quality of life upgrades, abilities, memories, and whatever is available for purchase in the point shop.

There's quiet some variance between blind dates and people eating each other, isn't there?

Anyway, if you pick a unit color that will open up your wardrobe and you'll be free to wander about and see for yourself. It also determines what color your clothes are outside of the standard white and silver.
I just ask that you choose quickly because someone is pounding on our door, and it won't open until you do so.

[ at the first part; and he jolts a bit at the second part as if not realizing, hurriedly picking his phone back up ]
I suppose -- red isn't a bad fit, is it?

Now -- there's still the matter of a name ...

Ah -- scalpel? Cannibalism? Romanticism? Coordination?
[ he may just be thinking over the whole rundown too much ]

What about being named after a famous doctor then?
Jekyll. Watson. Seuss. Moreau.

We have no way to disprove them at this point, anyway.

"Doctor Moreau" is what I'll settle on for now. I must thank you for the suggestions.
