Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. I have an important thing to tell everyone: It turns out that all of your fortunes are the same today. Anyone who comes out and counters this live that I'm doing right now with one of their own will have an enjoyable time of it.

A rather rudimentary prediction for a prognosticator of my ability, I know, but it can't be helped; I am only a messenger for the powers that be. A fortune still counts as a fortune even if it's so vague as to be almost completely guaranteed, I think!

I mean, not a very good fortune, but for sure. 'There's money in your future' too.

Without bad fortunes there would be no context to filter out the good ones.

Fucking lazy.

If you eliminate the bad ones, then mediocre fortunes become bad fortunes. And then you can eliminate the new "bad ones", and over time, you've improved the quality of fortunes by multiple magnitudes even if you haven't changed your descriptors for them.

Being able to see the future makes you lazy. Anyway, what do you define as a 'good' fortune? Are you gauging based only on accuracy? Because extremely specific prophecies will fail every time; they engineer their own destruction.

I'm flattered! I mean, I personally make it a point not to do low-quality fortunes. How am I ever going to justify charging for them if they're worth nothing?

Why not? When I do my fortunes it represents a lot of work on my end, you know? And they make 150 off it by default. Even if they pay me 75 out of that they still profit.
